FreeSpirited: Resorting to abuses to make a point. Lol, Graduate professionals in the making. I remember in the work style preferrence, something about not getting angry easily and looking for creative ways to settle fights among team members. What is wrong is still wrong. Stop using shells loopholes and our society's hypocrisy as an excuse to cover what's wrong! Nobody brought a gun to kill those people who shared Interview questions now did they? I dunno about the rest, I don't care who shared stuffs or why, I am just surprised people are defending what is wrong, in this same forum where people complain about Political corruption and Nepotism on organisations like shell. It just seems to me the country is an endless cycle of corruption and unethical practices, and we always give excuses for the wrong things - I call it the Corruption Chain and Corruption web; just like a Food chain and food web, we have people on the higher level (the consumers abd predators down to the producer and decomposers). 9 Likes |

dozylala: Trust me bruv, It's just plainly on achievements, the questions. In fact, they will tell u b4 starting, and the good thing is, u have 30sec to prepare an answer, and 3 minutes to answer, so, u can do that in 2mins, then use the extra 1mins & 30secs to think well. Good luck to all, I used my phone, oboi, see me on tie and boxers na. 12 Likes |

even shell nigeria is not fair, our labour laws are not fair ...a country it will take shell up to 2 yrs to conclude a recruitment process...in the uk its just 6 months. among d position we are fighting for even south south top guys will force shell to take their allies as their wokers cos they are operating there so believe it or not this is the modus operandi in this country. majekdom2: Lol. You know how you sound now? It's just like when someone rapes a girl, and some people say "well if she had not worn a miniskirt, she wouldn't have been raped". 2 wrongs don't make a right. So what? They decide to sell my data, that's their business. I am not against those who shared Interview questions, I am against those of you defending their actions! You are no different from those angry because other people will do better than them, because of the advantage. I have been calm up to this point, because I believe we are all mature, no need for insults or statements like "I no know jack!". Point of correction, you don't know me, and I don't know you. So you have no idea what I know and don't know. 2 Likes |

NaivatcoEcnirp: I'm not really eligible for the interview cos I'm in a medical field. But I've been following the thread, giving out information for the sake of my peeps who are eligible and going for the exam. And for the record, abuse can be used to express disappointments and displeasure, Its part of our language and have no apology for that. Fact is , if Shell does not want anyone to divulge the questions , Shell would definitely find a way to pre-empt that. Shell isn't that daft as many people here showcase their low-I.Q.......Many exams have past questions, many exams give past questions and tips...So this isn't different. There's nothing bad in this scenario. It may be bad in some scenario. Do you think Shell will be so daft not to think and factor the chance of two or three people taking turns to take the test, which automatically gives advantage to succeeding applicants? Who is now to blame? Shell or the succeeding candidates who saw the questions while their friends were doing theirs? Its a simple logic. 4 Likes |

NaivatcoEcnirp:I said you know no jack because you lack understanding. What the guy you quoted meant is these questions are everywhere online i.e glassdoor, reddit, quora, the fact that you are not informed about them does not mean they are not. The questions are what any prospective job applicant should expect, shell themself in their acknowledgement will share a link to a video and tips to passing from my experience in previous application. I don't know if the still do it. If you know how the video works, you will not be here with your epistles. I mentioned the hirevue sending your data just to let you know there are thing you can't have control over, this issue of what you are "preaching" against is one of it and shell knows that! 1 Like |

majekdom2: Alright then. Since you all have quick twitter fingers, I have one question for you all saying nothing is wrong. And I believe this should end the argument. Like I said I am not against those who shared the interview questions, I am against those who are defending the action itself. If you eventually have this shell Interview, or any firm for that matter and you are asked "would you share this interview questions on Nairaland or with anyone else?" Please do enlighten us what your answer will be, since all other people are hypocrites and you all are right. (Funny some of of you even said everyone has a right to their opinion) 4 Likes 1 Share |

Affon:I'm thinking you didn't follow the method I listed earlier, you need to make use of your access code in order to be able to have practice questions that you can watch after taking it. Copy the access code in your mail invite. Open the hirevue app, and paste the code. Once you paste the code, you will see two options; begin interview and sample interview Click begin interview and follow the instructions till you get to a point where you have practice and I'm ready Click on practice, to practice for as long as you like. If you are ready to rumble, click I'm ready and the real questions will come along. 1 Like |

NaivatcoEcnirp:No one will ask you do that because they know you will say No, but the reality is you might do. Businesses have experience that you do not have. Why do you think they changed the process aside going digital and saving money, it is because peop already got used to the previous and SHL... how so? You see, this is where some of you fail personality questions. Have you ever had a sales training before- you lie to your customers most times 1 Like |

NaivatcoEcnirp: Your analogy is faulty no offence. First of all, there is no cheating here cause no two questions are the same, save d question on ur interest to work with shell, which every serious applicant should know. Nairaland is where most Nigerians share their experience, job and otherwise. A simple google search for "shell graduate interviews" will give you links to glassdoor not nairaland, where you'd see d likely interview questions to expect at this stage - I'm talking questions from peeps who both got d offer and those who didn't. It is called "sharing your experience". I got d STAR approach to answering dia questions from there. I hv observed d questions aren't dsame from d experiences of more than four(4) peeps who shared theirs. So what's d fuss about? Do you know many stand a chance to benefit from this insightful tips after now - sometime in d future? Do you know peeps yet to do their online assessments (who many think hv an unfair advantage over those who hv done theirs) stand a chance of being REGRETTED when they eventually do, even if they perform well? - remember the first come first serve basis. I don weak on top dis shell mata and na only 20ppl dem fit come take last last 2 Likes |

What does it profit a sharp Nigeria graduate to go for a job or aptitude test without seeing or familiarising himself with the questions? Don't be deceived competition is very stiff. Nothing prevents you from sharing useful tips but not too detailed test and interview information on a public forum. Finally, getting a job in this modern world --not limited to Naija-- depends on WHO you know... Oh sorry! Relationships and network. 2 Likes |
