veecovee: The guy is trying to justify the reason he exited fbn too early. Disclosure: I am present in both dang flour(60%) and fbn. Sold most of my fbn @ a loss last year for cryptocurrency.(ROI> 700%) |

locodemy: Loco, I bought it in Jan 2016 (sorry it was around N0.82K- I just checked now) with the objective of holding it for a long time. I didn't even know that Alhaji was going to buy the company back. But I just felt probably its the environment that is making them to make losses that as soon as the management get their footing and business model right, the company will return to profitability...So, when the news of Dangote buying it back broke, my brother and I saw the SUDDEN reversal and MAD bull on it, I was just thanking God...It was and is still remain my main hit in the market till date... 3 Likes |

currentprice: currentprice: the moment people see what you have seen very early DF going for full bid at the moment does not mean there will not be pullback. but once u know what you bought, you have no cause for any shaken i will say it again base on fundamental DF better than DS and the price suppose to be higher than DS only time will tell. 2 Likes |

This just proves that FBN lacks the right fundamentals to compete with UBA and Access. The stock will keep going up and down until the coast is clear. |

locodemy:Thanks Sir Loco . always try and take advantage of the anomalies in the market . If Mobil is paying you a guaranteed 417 if your name is on the list of shareholders by june 29th, thats a no brainer . The company involved in the deal is just trying to push down the price of Mobil so that they can mop up at a lower price and and be able to influence majority decision to get the take over approved and anyways they are over paying for Mobil. please take advantage of that and don't let anyone tell you the cut off date has passed . afterall Ashaka cement is still trading despite Wapco take over . Market will always go up and down . plan your strategy well and if you are in doubt ask the technical guys here for assistance . they know what they are doing and they are very approachable . Lets not get too excited when the market is bullish or too despondent when its bearish . just have a plan . if you have a particular question and i can help , i will answer . once again thanks for recognizing my presence . you are a good guy and you will do well in FCMB 7 Likes |

OBAGADAFFI: I beg to differ on the above. Time will tell. You do not expect a continue price movement just like that. Give FBNH time to prove itself. 2017 bottom line will begin to show after clearing the impairments. Then you can conclude. More so Stock trading is psychological. When everybody want to take profit same time. This is what happens. Those that can wait will be do better 6 Likes |

Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by OBAGADAFFI: 2:28pm On Jun 07, 2017 |
sellydion: And why do think they are taking profits same time on FBN alone, why not UBA or Access. FBN is currently doing house cleaning, and until that is complete, it will continue to experience massive volatility. |

It is not good to trade with hope, something may not be fishy.. Be cruel to take profit when you reach your target... let your profit sit down in your bank account... look for other opportunities .. 2 Likes 1 Share |

OBAGADAFFI:...uuuhhhmmm! "massive volatility" is good for any stock. That is where you can make good money (and of course loss money as well). |
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by OBAGADAFFI: 2:47pm On Jun 07, 2017 |
BullBearMkt: Its very good for JIJO As you can see. Some gained 50% with three days, while some loose 50% within two days. |
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by BullBearMkt(m): 2:57pm On Jun 07, 2017 |
OBAGADAFFI:...volatility is good for both JIJO, long-term and what have you. The challenge there is that with high volatility stocks, while your profits can be very high, your losses can also be high. Apart from that, you achieve your investment objective(s) quicker on high volatility stocks. I am sure you don't want to invest now and wait for returns for ages |

OBAGADAFFI: Bros, what do you expect from a stock that gained for 14 consecutive days? Four of those days were maximum percentage points. Crazy stuff....... You don't expect a pull back? 4 Likes |
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by OBAGADAFFI: 3:10pm On Jun 07, 2017 |

Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by sellydion: 3:13pm On Jun 07, 2017 |
OBAGADAFFI: FBNH has finished house cleaning. It is better positioned than some of those banks. More so any recovery now is a plus to the bottom line. Naturally the stock close a little red yesterday. People want to safeguard their 14 days profits. Hence panic selling today. 3 Likes |
