You know, nigerians are the kings and queens of grandiose declarations in Africa. Also there is no compulsion on them to report back to the taxpayers about how their taxes do work. In Kenya, these kind of feedback is required by LAW and CONTRACTUAL OBLIGATION. That is why they post on both print and electronic media this kind of progress, so the random dude in Nigeria with internet connection can just be as informed on project status as you an I.

Slums r very difficult to completely get rid of, dontcha think? Look at Makoko, i heard most of it was demolished, buh did it really work? Seems like it was rebuilt.
Over here in Abuja, despite the demolition of many developing shanty settlements, many new ones r still developing simultaneously n if care is not taken, Abuja will have full blown large slums like Nairobi.

thank you my dear .even the slum is well segregated from the posh area which makes it easily to tackle and eradicate problem of the slum conditions whereas in our cities you tend to see larger housing areas considered to be a slum mix with the tuch area thereby giving the whole area an unpleasant and uncharacteristic look of a disorganised city.

Naaah. Yar'adua was the one who championed dialogue initiatives for the Niger delta militants n established a ministry for their affairs. That went a long way in stabilizing Nigeria. If Yar'adua had not fallen sick n died, he might have been our best president so far.

As for Goodluck, i wouldn't say he was personally corrupt, he was just very tolerant with corruption. Naturally he is a very tolerant n easy going person.
His vision n plans for Nigeria were superb. Goodluck invested in Nigeria's infrastructure so much.
