The leaders of the Arewa Youth Consultative Forum, AYCF, have said that the threat of arrest by the government of Kaduna State will not stop them from insisting that people of Igbo extraction should leave the north.

The group, a coalition of some northern groups, insisted on its stance that Igbos leave the 19 northern states within three months.
One of the leaders of the group, who read their declaration on Tuesday, Abdulaziz Suleiman, said they held a meeting in Kaduna on Wednesday after the threat of arrest and decided that “there will be no retreat, no surrender”.

Mr. Abdulaziz, the National Coordinator of Northern Emancipation Network, NEN, informed PREMIUM TIMES over the telephone on Wednesday evening that contrary to the position by Kaduna State government, they are not advocating violence.
“Our declaration did not mention violence at all. The Igbo have consistently insisted that they don’t want to be in Nigeria, let them therefore, go back to their places “They don’t believe in Nigeria, so, we also don’t believe in them,” he said.

Mr. Suleiman also accused Governor Nasir El-Rufai of Kaduna State of playing politics over the matter.
“Where was El Rufai when the Igbos gave the Fulani ultimatum to leave their areas?
“Where was he when over 500 northerners were killed in Ile Ife? These people just politicise everything.
“Because he wants to run for President, he chose to ignore his people and appease the Igbo? Goodluck to him,” he said.

Like Mr. El-Rufai, the Nigerian government has also condemned the call by the northern coalition, assuring Nigerians that the threat by the group should be ignored.
“It is not new, but what I want to assure you is that the security agencies are on top of the situation,” the information minister, Lai Mohammed, said.

The call by the Northern group has also been condemned by Nigerians across ethnic and political divide, as well as Igbo groups like MASSOB and the Ohaneze Ndigbo with the latter cautioning Igbos in South-east Nigeria not to retaliate with a similar call.

Some group of peasants just seeking attention

I don't even know why anybody would even be living with those uncivilized, illiterate savages and terrorists. A very savage stock with an insatiable penchant for violence.
Go there and make your money, if you must, and for Gods sake come back to Southern civilisation

This is the crux of their matter and grievance and the bold part is for those of Yoruba extraction that think they have any special status or can afford their idea of neutrality. When Igbos and others complain of fulani herdsmen and their madness, some of you are the first to explain that they don't forget or forgive. Now you see they have committed it to their memory that u killed 500 of their people in Ile-Ife; if there is ever a showdown, understand that there is a special agenda for you.

Their grouse with the Igbo is that they don't believe in Nigeria and supposedly issued ultimatums to the fulani to leave the East abi? Una own be say dem don carry am for mind say una kill their people up to 500 sef...
When people tell u guys that there is no distinction in the eyes of dem Northern bloodsuckers once u are of Southern origin, y'all think u can be neutral and even mock the Igbos. No problem, at least Igbos have always been clear on their position, known their enemies and will take all necessary precautions, You guys on the other hand are still feeling relaxed and don't quite see the need to sit up, take note and take a decisive stand. I hope it will not be too late.

you call cannibalism, jungle justice, killing of kids in the name of witchcraft, cultism, drug trafficking, baby factory operation and prostitution civilisation? what have the wasted sperm (ipoop) not said about Nigeria and how they are going to kill anybody that is against their useless agitation? in what way are you even different from the ipoop and the northern savages since you are so biased that you can't act like a reasonable human being and condemn both parties for their display of madness?

They pointed to their governor's eye service as regards the debacle in Ile If but they insist you must leave their region. Is that too hard to understand. Leave them with Yoruba
