Fibroid operations is more routine in Nigeria than abroad. It's commoner in black women than Caucasians btw.
I would trust a Nigerian Dr in Obs and gyne dept in a general hospital to do a fibroid surgery than a Caucasian Dr. They would probably have done more cases than your oyibo dr would ever dream of doing.
I have seen fibroid operations go wrong more than once by oyibo Dr. The only advantage is that if things go wrong, they have proper itu facility.
