Please did anyone of us here who placed buying order yesterday through morgan capital stockbroker received alert?

They ask us to send our buy and sell mandate yesterday through our email, I sent mine and I believe many others do so, if truly they did not use our money to buy for themselves to make their own gain and return back our money when they sell, at least one person would have testify that they bought some certain stock for him/her yesterday.

I am yet to receive the contract purchase note email of the transactions i did on Wednesday the last day the portal was up. It will be a miracle for them to treat the manual offline deals of yesterday.

CSL that I've been begging them to open an account for me and they're not minding me sef angry Very poor customer service experience on their side.

Chibuking81:

If so CSL stockbrokers are far better than them.

Morgan charge about .65% for buying and .85 for sell total = 1.5%

CSL STOCKBROKERS charges about 1.45% for buying and 1.55 for sell, total 3%
And they are highly reliable valuable than most stockbrokers they are subsidiary of FCMB and has the same office with the bank. They are also into real time online trading.

My People! It is very sad what clients of Morgan Capital Group has been experiencing since yesterday. I can understand why we have many complains on this platform. However, this does not call for tagging the company with "bad names". Without able to substantiate your claim, it is unethical to call the showdown of their login system - manipulative. We should be guided accordingly.
Let everyone angered by this unfortunate incident lodge his or her complain with the company and also with the regulatory body.
grin grin grin grin grin
I strongly believe that they use our money and shut us out from gaining access to our account, bro BullBearMkt infact this act is manipulation senior brother.
Ok you suggest we complain to them, the reply they will give, will be that of covering up their act.
I believe that they see and listen to our complains here.
They should better do something, before something will do them.

Offensive & Defensive Tips

- Your entry signals are your offense
- Your trailing stops for winning trades are your defense for not losing your open profits.
- Letting a winner run is your offense, cutting your loser short is your defense.
- Buying a monster stock is an offensive move, planning on how you will exit with your profits is your defensive move.
- Identifying a trend is your offensive play while creating a trading plan on how to trade it is your defensive play.
- Your choice on what to trade is playing offense, choosing your position size is playing defense.
- Your watch list is playing offense choosing how much capital to risk on any one trade is playing defense.

In trading your wins are not permanent and your profits can be taken back, when you score you have to next ensure that you are not scored on. The goal of keeping your hard earned profits has to be far above the desire for making quick money with big risks.

...just thinking loud, if you strongly believe your money is being used for illicit trading, will calling them names on this platform change things in the future? I will rather first report them them to NSE and if nothing is done, take them to court to claim damages. If 1 person cannot, we can group ourselves together and take them to court, if there is any evidence.

That is why we continue to make "noise" in this country and nothing seem to change.

I hope you don't concoct theories like this against people in real life grin It is a grave sin against God.....to make false accusations which you can't prove. Always give a benefit of doubt. What if you are wrong? You would have succeeded in unjustly tarnishing the image of your victim. This is most unfair and you know it. It is impossible for any stockbroking firm to use clients' money to trade themselves without NSE not getting to know and the consequences are dire. Its' called co-mingling. Even though i agree that they have a very weak communication system, you cannot accuse them of fraud just for the sake of it.

Those of you defending Morgan Capital it is clear you've never really traded with them OR at least you're not doing so significantly right now.

The only reason why I'm still with them is their highly responsive platform - not even their yeye low charges. I left them briefly last year (during their suspension) and joined Meristem who by the way have way better customer service, but I had to go back due to the un-responsive and seemingly delayed nature of Meritrade.

No amount of accusation is too much for them because their sins are too many. I'm an IT person, so let me assure you that their excuse of technical glitch is hogwash. Only a very un-serious, and I mean very very un-serious private financial enterprise will suffer a technical glitch lasting days - especially at a time like this - escept of course they know something we don't. Even Nairaland I'm sure we can easily count how many times in a year it goes down.

If it's not their mails bouncing back, it's them not updating the account statements on time or making posting errors on account statements or refusing to pick calls, or refusing to effect cash withdrawals in a timely manner etc etc.

No one has been able to point me in the direction of another broker with a platform as responsive, interactive and real time as itrade. That's the only reason I'm still with them.

Anyway if by start of trade today they are not up, I'm withdrawing the cash I have there this morning and transferring it to another broker, I ain't missing this bull, rain or shine.

System collapse happen every now and then. From NEPA, GSM, Banks, to the Internet. It's not an uncommon issue. Meristem had theirs a few days ago but were efficient enough to restore service asap.

Anybody that has access to Morgan capital security management should advise them to open tomorrow morning for us to have access to our account balance or for withdrawal of my funds if they are not trading.....otherwise they will know some people are TROUBLE MAKERS. ..,.I will ensure I take it up with them to a LOGICAL Conclusion with SEC or to Supreme Court. ..This is very UNPROFESSIONAL

Let's join hands together and stop Morgan from these nonse attitudes. Let those that are affected send an email of SEC. They are very effective and will do something about this asap. I am sending my complaint to SEC right away.

Look at now trading has started and those of us in Morgan are spectators while others make money yet their excuse for being down is very flimsy. More so they are not picking calls else I can easily withdraw some cash, credit another of my brokers and get into some trades.

Saying we should not complain on this thread when it is about issues relating to a broker is a very funny statement to make.

I can see stockbrokers talking and defending themselves.
Remember, there is God.
If you that is backing them have your money traped with them in this bullish period, I know you would have not been back them.
In develop countries one can easily sue them for waist of opportunies.

Very reasonable critique of MorganCapital, i spoke with an insider and he informed me that the problem is from their host, i can't confirm that but if that's true i do not expect them to come out and say that.

My brother 0.25% is not a "yeye" low charges. They are a brave stockbroking firm but they need to get thier acts together. It could be dangerous for them.
