I can see stockbrokers talking and defending themselves.
Remember, there is God.
If you that is backing them have your money traped with them in this bullish period, I know you would have not been backing them.
In developed countries one can easily sue them for waste of opportunities.

na in developed countries, it would have been included in one of their disclaimers

Have you not been in a bank where the most irate customer gets attended to just because of his behaviour? Again this is Nigeria. Rants have their effects. Nobody likes controversy. And again my man is just alleging, it's not like he swore with a bible

No leave them. Those of us that are complaining don't have anything better to do in a very bullish market like this where every minute counts, so we prefer to just sit and concoct accusations against another entity. Anyway all that is irrelevant now, to each his own. I'm not here to win arguments online but to trade and learn.

The Senate, yesterday, stopped the N5 charge it earlier proposed for every litre of fuel and diesel, as well as suspended further considerations on the National Roads Fund Establishment Bill seeking to effect the charge. The lawmakers had, a week ago, proposed N5 charge on every litre of Premium Motor Spirit (petrol)

My brother 0.25% is not a "yeye" low charges. They are a brave stockbroking firm but they need to get thier acts together. It could be dangerous for them.

My brother I agree with your statement. 1.55% is not yeye grin grin grin Lol. - especially for JIJOis t like me. But trust me with better customer service and a highly responsive real time platform, you'll get used to slightly higher charges with time and even forget it exists.

I tire o. To think that this stock was begging me to save it from the bears at N48 pere I think it will go far. Free float is not significant and FO is weighted in the MCSI index so foreign investors might have it in sight.

Stockbrokers in this country are mean o.
How can a broker charge 3-4% to execute a complete trade oder in a market they offer only Long positions?
Chai! So if I make 3 trades (buy n sell) in a day without any profit or loss, 12% of my portfolio will phwwwee!!

ExLaidback:
Those of you defending Morgan Capital it is clear you've never really traded with them OR at least you're not doing so significantly right now.

The only reason why I'm still with them is their highly responsive platform - not even their yeye low charges. I left them briefly last year (during their suspension) and joined Meristem who by the way have way better customer service, but I had to go back due to the un-responsive and seemingly delayed nature of Meritrade.

No amount of accusation is too much for them because their sins are too many. I'm an IT person, so let me assure you that their excuse of technical glitch is hogwash. Only a very un-serious, and I mean very very un-serious private financial enterprise will suffer a technical glitch lasting days - especially at a time like this - escept of course they know something we don't. Even Nairaland I'm sure we can easily count how many times in a year it goes down.

If it's not their mails bouncing back, it's them not updating the account statements on time or making posting errors on account statements or refusing to pick calls, or refusing to effect cash withdrawals in a timely manner etc etc.

No one has been able to point me in the direction of another broker with a platform as responsive, interactive and real time as itrade. That's the only reason I'm still with them.

Anyway if by start of trade today they are not up, I'm withdrawing the cash I have there this morning and transferring it to another broker, I ain't missing this bull, rain or shine.

The bolded invalidates criminality, but confirms that all platforms are challenged in various or different ways. Morgan, Meristem, T.., In.... etc.

Could it be that Morgan is taking advantage of us? Imagine how I'm watching dangflour trading from 5.59 down to 5.09 and about to go on full offer...without being able to lock my profit. Oh my goodness, is Morgan gaining from this?

I have a very good response that invalidates your statement and shows its weak premise, but I didn't come online to argue or win arguments. I came to trade. Cheers bro.

If the problem is from their host, i expect the whole domain name/ website to be down but that is not the case because Morgan Group website is up and running expect the only page that has to do with Itrade login.

God will expose them, if really they took advantage of our cash.
Buying in bid period with our money and dumping in offer period through cross trading to those who send email purchase mandate to them.
Indeed am angry with them for this their singular act. cool

This is most unfair and you know it. It is impossible for any stockbroking firm to use clients' money to trade themselves without NSE not getting to know and the consequences are dire. Its' called co-mingling. Even though i agree that they have a very weak communication system, you cannot accuse them of fraud just for the sake of it.

You guys should stop saying what you don't know. Who told you they cannot use your money to trade? Brokers are allowed to trade and make money for themselves just like everyone else. The money in your trading account is domiciled in their bank accounts and they have 100% access to those funds. From where do you think they make their money? From your meagre commission fees? Think again. Why do you think SEC is always increasing minimum required Capitalisation of Stockbrokers? What do you have to say about stockbrokers that have incured the wrath of SEC due to market infractions? Have you not heard of market infractions that involve brokers selling your stocks without your consent and neither giving you back your stock nor the money realised from the sale?

Worry not bro. Somebody has started mopping up Dangflour at 5.26. And from what i am seeing, its going to close on bid for the third consecutive day.

The anticipated news is not even out and the stock is rallying. Imagine what will happen when the announcement is made to the world that they are a dividend viable, profitable company again.

My only anger is my inability to buy today.

This could be a very BIG LIE. Morgan is hosted by Caladata Limited and the following stockbrokers are also hosted by Caladata and have the same trading platform as Morgan. Are you saying all of them are experiencing the same problem? Please customers of TRW Stockbrokers or any of the below should confirmed this.

1.TRW Stockbrokers Ltd
2.Fortress Capital Ltd
3.Nigerian International Securities Limited
4.Edgefield Capital Management Limited
5.Core Trust & Investment Limited
6.Sigma Securities Limited
