He was refused...documents lacks credibility/unconvincing. And the truth is he never used any fake document. He was adviced to reapply within 10days....

To the gurus in the house, what does he needs to add to application to be resubmitted?

It has been a long time I posted here. I want to thank God for my life, I came into RSA in March 2015 for my Master degree and i graduated last month with my MEng Electrical Eng. In the course of it I got a Critical Skill Work Permit in Lagos last year December. I came back to RSA this January, after securing a little job, I applied for my Permanent Residence Permit in RSA on 03/05/2017 and it was issued to me on 04/06/2017, I mean I got it in 30 days instead of the usual 8-10 months. Nah God o! Now, I am a Permanent Resident of RSA, I can bring my wife and children anytime I like now and probably relocate to ......

Life in RSA is not easy if you don't plan well because you may end up using all your money to pay rent, which is heavy, but if you are focus, plan well and God help you, then you will make head-way.

I am currently registering for my PhD.

God bless us all.

Good morning.

Is it true that it takes a minimum of 7 weeks for a SA tourist visa to be processed in Lagos? I went through wakanow to process my visa and when I was told it took this amount of time, I was floored. Is this some sort of new development because when I read the processing center website, I read 5 working days. Please HELP....

Happy weekend to you all.
I want to apply for South Africa tourist or visiting visa and i need a useful info on how to go about it. I will like to know the require documents to submit, the minimum balance to have on my statement of account, the cost of visa application and the cheapest flight I can get.
The person I asked said I should bring 400k just for a week visiting visa. Please your response will be highly appreciated. Thanks

1. He does have saqa but I just confirmed it wasn't submitted with the initial submission. (SAQA arrived 2weeks after he submitted) which I'm not aware of, would have asked him to wait for it prior to submission.

2. Its a 2years Diploma.

3. Can't remember d college's name o but he said the guy at VFS asked him to request for the School's Certificate of registration with The Institute of Tertiary education which he requested for & the school sent it to him.

4. He did Momentum...Ingwe for 1year. Infact, I was the one who assisted him in making that payment here R4,215 .

To the all the mentors here...Hes married and the wife works with FG...Health Sector. Does he needs to submit marriage certificate & wife's consent?

Congrats on your PR but not to belittle your achievements I think S.A is actually dashing professionals PR now. The country needs educated people like you because the country has issues

Nigeria needs more problem solvers than SA does. Who will solve your "issues" when you're all running to solve problems in other countries loll. Damn!

The point he's trying to make is, your government is smart, they're trying to increase the talent pool in your country by offering permanent stay to qualified professionals. That's what forward thinking governments do. How else do you think USA became what it is today? Countries that can offer relatively high wages and a better quality of life will always attract suitably qualified professionals. In Dothraki speak, "me nem nesa"

I always thought the USA became great because of the workforce of the black and Chinese slaves.the bolded always sounds like a hilarious myth to me because we got countries like China and Germany which are just as great as the USA in terms of technology, engineering, etc and those countries use VERY less foreign labor but look how technologically advanced China is.

A smart government would invest heavily in education and researches to make sure the natives are educated (something the South African government is highly exalted for)

It would be very selfish of SA to give all the professionals a permanent stay while most African countries are in a state of emergency and whatever skills they may have is mostly needed there than in South Africa.
