Maybe if the northerners taxed the sale of slaves, the people that they stole from northern Yoruba land, the middle belt and Kaduna south (a trade that they continued well into the 20th century) they might have had sufficient government revenue to develop their silly region and then they wouldn't need the south and none of us would be in this mess.
