"The next civil war in Nigeria will not be between Igbos and other tribes. It will be between Igbos and these few indian-hemp smoking teenagers they call IPOB. No Igbo man is ready to lose his life, business and family member because of these rats. Igbos since after the last civil war have invested a lot in Nigeria.

We are holding onto our houses, and business empires in Nigeria. We will soon flush you and your 419 leader out of Igbo land."--Opara Kingsley

Ur case is OYOangry

In as much as most ibos do not support IPOB before but since buhari borrowed Billions of dollars to fund railway lines in the north and west without including the east I think am now in full support of the IPOB.

The greatest problem of this country is no regular light.

If there is light, things would improve significantly.
A serious government would have tackled light problem by now

The average Aboki see no difference between an Igbo and Yoruba.
As far as he is concerned,if it is not Hausa, it is Igbo.
This should serve as a cautionary tale to those Yorubas jubilating over the ultimatum served to the Igbos.
This is the time to come together and create a vision for Southern Nigeria, however, the Yoruba youths on this forum are solely interested in mocking igbos.
Were eze gi gu ire gi onu!

Yoruba's and other non-hausa/Fulani muslins are always the biggest and easiest casualties of the animalistic abokiis.
The Igbos and others know how to prepare, take precaution and defend themselves. But the same cannot be said of the Yorubas, Igalas and other southern Moslems. They sheepishly wait and get slaughtered because they think they can be spared due to their religion.

Sadly we will all continue to suffer till we do the right thing. You and all the others slugging it out here are the fuel that is propelling whatever vehicle the bullies are riding on.

That's just the right ointment that will keep massaging their cowardly ego.

The disjoint, distrust, unnecessary rivalry, jealousy amongst us are the reason we will continue to be abused.

Be sure to paste tribal marks on all yoruba in the north. The last time there was a riot in Kano a Yoruba lecturer and his entire family was killed.

I have always maintained that this threat if carried out will be against every non-northerner and possibly christians. A country where people don't have valid IDs. When we see bad we should speak out and not try score some cheap points..the man probably understands the consequences of this having lived there himself.

You're saying this because you don't live in the North.

Like I said, if this ultimatum is actually carried out then it will be cleared to the NL Yoruba's or those who sit in SW and never being to Northern part of the country that Igbo and Yoruba in the Northern part are more united than Igbo and Yoruba in SW.

Because if you have ever been to the North, you will discover that both Igbo and Yoruba in the North always live in the same community rather than tenting their beds in the midst of Hausas. Which means Igbo and Yoruba up north see themselves as one who understand each other.

I was just shaking my head when I see some Yorubas rejoicing over the ultimatum but out of ignorance forgotten that Hausa almajeri can't differentiate between an average Igbo or Yoruba person.

Mind you I'm a Yoruba man but I live in the North!
Succinctly put. I served in the North and when kasala was about to burst, my friends in the corpers' lodge in Kano were scared and you know what, many Southern tribes were well represented. It took the pleading of the Northerners serving with us to beg.

They don't know when it happens, most Southerners (SE, SW, SS) will run to Sabongari and stay.

Those who are kicking against Biafra are those mainly from the minorities, reason is because of the protection Igbos give them not in the physical form but because Igbos are democratic and hates injustices, they will always fight against killings due to our beliefs in the sanctity of human life

Just check when there's killing of any kind, you will see Igbos campaign against it, but one thing that baffles me is that these minorities doesn't want Igbos to make progress politically

Baba, i support nigeria balkanization, but i do not like as yoruba people are dragged into other people's mess. Northerners differentiated yorubas from igbos in 1966

How many of your friends and relatives have tribal marks?
Are you joking or are you a joker?

The usual attack and killing of everyone but the Hausa's themselves during crisis is not by mistake but a grand design to vent their hate as stipulated by their blood-thirsty prophet. What I don't understand is why they also kill Yoruba Muslims.

Does that change anything? Do you think an average yoruba cannot differentiate hausa from igbos? Stop dragging yoruba people into your mess. I know fully well that if it was the other way, your people would have been celebrating it, but as it seem you are the one in trouble, you are dragging yoruba people in order to feel relieved.
