The central defence pair is simply romantic. Awaziem and Ekong are amazing on the ball, defensively strong and aware.

Onazi has been brilliant tracking back. Almost flawless. He has made tidy long passes but some terrible final balls.

Etebo showed brilliant skills running but his final ball has let us so down. Iheanacho has made some brilliant runs to give us the edge but the final balls to him have been awful and laid us down.

Ndidi showed some good sides but his running along with Onazi put the central defence under a lot of pressure.

Echiejile showed good work rate but he is leaving a lot of gap. He caused Awaziem to leave his zone to help cover the wide gaps on our left side.

Simon has been too predictable..

Onazi has been the best player.

Akpeyi should not be number 1 or number 2.

Too many overhit passes towards kelechi.

Move iwobi to the middle.

Not an impressive first half to be honest, especially with the final balls. Same old first half handbrakes like witnessed against against Tanzania and Senegal.

Iwobi have been the worst player on the pitch so far. I think Rohr will pull him and one the Dms (Onazi/Ndidi) out and sub Musa /Kayode in.

45mins and no shot on target is not good.

I was late to the game. I will make my assessment after the match.

I can see that Roir selection headache has come to play
Playing Iwobi on the flanks is wrong Etebo could have been better there
Kelechi is isolated

Seem some Dudes ain't watching the Match, only following on Twitter.

Onazi has been very fantastic. He's really playing well and deserves the Armband. I think Ndidi should make way in the 2nd half for Musa, then Etebo plays as B2B.

We need Iwobi's creativity in this Match, if we are really hoping to win it.

this match sef. ok move Iwobi to the middle and who will play on the left side? I mean Onyekuru is not in the match day squad and quite frankly Moses Simon should not come into that field in the second half, in fact he shouldn't near that team again for now, I have said that before. the idea for this second half should be simple, sub out Iwobi and put in Kayode, Etebo should move to the left but he will still be coming in so we will jus need to sacrifice the left flank(thats what we get for leaving Onyekuru out of the match day squad) then Iheanacho should play behind Kayode when not in possession and the formation reverts to a 4-4-2 when in possession

Same Solution came to me. Move Iwobi to middle, pull out Etebo and bring in Kayode to support from the flanks.

Onazi and Ndidi should play deeper to reduce the gap and support the wing backs when they overlap.

Nope, Akpeyi was at fault. He spilled the ball. Either a tight grip or punching out (the better optionl). Akpeyi dropped it.

I have said it before, Onazi and Ndidi will never work together and forget the fact that Onazi has been working hard, his passes especially the long ones still need a good deal of work, and he should stop trying it every time he gets the ball

Etebo not imposing enough from the AM position. He should switch with Iwobi.

I'm a big fan of Iwobi, any regular here can attest to that. Unfortunately, I don't get carried away with sentiments. He's been poor, haven't looked threatening like Simon on the other side.
