Keep shouting unity beggars up and down without 7nderstanding what it fully means.

The problem with a lot of Nigerians is that they they think very one dimensionally and narrowly. They don't think in a very broad and in-depth manner but in a very shallow manner.
A lot of This guys cheering for the disintegration of the nation do not understand the 3rd and 4th order of consequences of the unravelling of a nation of over 250 ethnic groups. The consequences are just downright chilling. Its like opening a Pandoras box that will generate a whole host of other complicated problems and when those problems are unleashed there is almost no way to put the genie back in the bottle. That's why one always has to be careful of the law of unintended consequences because the effects can be so devastating and far reaching.

If you truly want to find out what could happen in Nigeria go read up on what happened to Yugoslavia in the 90's or to Lebanon in the 80's or what's going on te Congo today.

Nawa ooo!

That's because if the genie is let out of the bottle its almost impossible to put it back in again. You see, what this is going to leafmd to is a chain reaction of events that won't stop until it reaches its ugly conclusion. When one domino falls. Na so the others go continue to dey fall. In other words, when fire starts burning in the Bush during dry season, it usually doesn't stop until it has burnt everything down completely.

Finally, I will leave you a quote from Martin Neimoller a clergyman (pastor) in Germany when Adolf Hitler and the Nazis were beginning to tighten it's grip on Germany And leading it to the abyss:

First they came for the Socialists, and I did not speak out because I was not a Socialist.

Then they came for the Trade Unionists, and I did not speak out because I was not a Trade Unionist.

Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out because I was not a Jew.

Then they came for me and there was no one left to speak for me.
- Martin Neimoller.

Like i told you, when the time comes, dont shout betrayal.
Okay?

You appear not to know the meaning of betrayal. To betray is to deny a friend who trusted to. What will Igbo trust yoruba in this context. Rubbish.

Who really controls this country? Is it not the federal government? And what are they saying concerning threats from people who determines those that will stay in a particular section of the country.

Your people claim yorubas betrayed them because we did not vote for gej in 2015.
Tell your people to know the meaning of betrayal so that when the northerners start their problem and yoruba keep silent, they wont start shouting betrayal over the place.
Get it?

Yoruba has taken more casualties from northern violence in past 10 years. Yoruba lecturer and his entire family wiped out in Kano. Redeemed pastors wife killed. Yoruba corpers killed in Bauchi. Yoruba traders from Ibadan massacred in Borno. If you didn't hear of these killings that was because your people never utter a word when their people get killed in the north. So why would any sensible Igbo man expect a word from the Say Nothing Tribe.

You're saying this because you don't live in the North.

Like I said, if this ultimatum is actually carried out then it will be cleared to the NL Yoruba's or those who sit in SW and never being to Northern part of the country that Igbo and Yoruba in the Northern part are more united than Igbo and Yoruba in SW.

Because if you have ever been to the North, you will discover that both Igbo and Yoruba in the North always live in the same community rather than tenting their beds in the midst of Hausas. Which means Igbo and Yoruba up north see themselves as one who understand each other.

I was just shaking my head when I see some Yorubas rejoicing over the ultimatum but out of ignorance forgotten that Hausa almajeri can't differentiate between an average Igbo or Yoruba person.

Mind you I'm a Yoruba man but I live in the North!

God bless you

A group of faceless clowns gathered in Kaduna and made what's an invitation to violence against a particular group. All because they are, as they called themselves, "youths" of the region - a political identity one is now ashamed to identify with. They did not represent me, and none of them has done something worthy of commendation even in their immediate environment to earn veneration.
And then came a more embarrassing joke by a group of senior citizens from the region: an endorsement of a dangerous call. I'm not exactly shocked by the position of Ango Abdullah and friends, they're already cornered to the museum of the nation, and must do everything to regain their dwindled relevance.
Both the signatories of the so-called Kaduna Declaration and elders of Ango Abdullahi's Forum represent the agency we must fight in building a sane society.
I've no respect for what the two groups advocate and I'll challenge them, and call them the evil they are. If you do not regard their advocacy as dangerous in a country this volatile, then you are a part of our problem.
Ango Abdullahi and friends are no longer the landlords of this house, you and I are - or so it should be. They have had their time and made a mess of the place we are not proud to call home.
Be ashamed of yourself if, despite your education and years lived, you see no wrong in amplifying or justifying violence against a group, regional or ethnic, religious or political.
My house is open to any igbo or any other person who feels threatened by those cowards. We should not let those corrupt people up there divide us.

When trouble start, it is usually Hausa vs others. Not Hausa vs part of others. Even being a Muslim won't save you

Why then did Igbos complain about pogrom against them alone in the 60s in the North why not against Yorubas then. Hausas can differentiate between Yorubas and Igbo just as Yorubas can differentiate between Hausas and Igbos. Though there will be some casualties on all sides including Hausas if they choose to attack Igbos; no one can monopolize violence.

Go back and read stories about the 1966 wahala. Or go read about subsequent riots in the North and see if they distinguish. Remember, in the North, Yoruba and Igbo live together in areas. They just attack an area they know is full of non indegenes. So when a mob come to your area, you will wait and tell them am not so so tribe and they will leave you? Hahahahaha!!!!!!!

I'd lived in the North and truly no one can predict them. there will certainly be casualties among all the ethnic groups including Northerners themselves as I already mentioned above. However it will affect Igbo more as Hausas since June 12 really don't want to make all out enemies of all the Southern groups, considering their oil blocks in SS and their investments in the SW.
As for me I will advise all the Southern groups to leave as soon as Igbos are being forced to vacate the North - in solidarity and to save their lives.
