No your comment was a border line blatant lie. You should have rather said you personally wish or hope Nigeria can start assembling that aircraft soon. Look at the other people who replied to that post, they were under the impression that Nigeria CAN actually assemble such an aircraft soon...when it can't. You are being nothing but a fraud. I don't eat pap thanks. Chow

Good.

The Hybrid Rooikat

This particular Rooikat has one huge battery that can powerup a small suburb for the whole night. On stealth mode it switches off its diesel engine and moves quietly to assault it's target or pass undetected. One of its kind.

Go have Braai and pap.

My comment is quite clear, stop searching for conflict were none exists.

Stop making baseless comments and there wont be any conflict.

I'm confused undecided. How did you jump from an article stating MOU signed to make PARTS in Nigeria (not even knowing what those parts may be) to you stating this aircraft might soon be assembled in Nigeria? How did you make that massive jump? Is this a personal wish list of yours or is there another link you haven't posted?

I also read it carefully twice. Glad I'm not the only one wondering!

That's almost 28tons of weight moved by an electric battery. That's rather impressive.

NAF AIRLIFTS FOOD ITEMS IN SUPPORT OF FEDERAL GOVERNMENT'S NEW INITIATIVE FOR IDPs

The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) recently deployed its C-130H transport aircraft and Mi-17 helicopter in support of the new plan announced by the Federal Government for delivering relief materials to Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) in the Northeast Region. The Acting President, Prof Yemi Osinbajo, while unveiling the new plan in Maiduguri, Borno State on 8 June 2017, said IDPs would no longer have to queue for food but rather have the food items delivered at their doorsteps. According to the Acting President, the food items were transported from various parts of the country “and in some cases airlifted by the NAF”.

As the exercise commenced, the NAF C-130H aircraft airlifted hundreds of bags of food items weighing about 10,000kg to Maiduguri with plans to use the Mi-17 helicopter to ferry some of the items to selected IDP camps. In addition, the NAF provided Combat Air Patrol around Maiduguri metropolis during the occasion. The exercise is a continuous one and the NAF would continue to ensure the availability of its aircraft to support the Federal Government initiative, in partial fulfillment of its constitutional roles.

When the Kenyan Army decides to retire the AML fleet they ought to donate them to the Administration Police and the rural border patrol units in particular.

Those okes do some exceedingly dangerous work with limited resources and could always use more heavy firepower.
