note. from experience, it is rather better to have ready markets before stocking your birds. For broilers to be ready to be sold and profit made, they must/ should attain a body weight of between 1.9kg min-2.2kg max weight else they would rejected by eateries. When they have been culled and the feathers, intestines, gizzard, legs,neck removed, body carcass will be about 1.2-1.3kg or thereabout.

You may create jobs for yourself if you are umemployed by marketing chicken in the processed form. if you can locate a market niche in your area, you are good to go.

well. let me clearly state here that this is strictly those who grow in large quantity and sell in kilos. there are weight specifications. different markets require different weight. it is advisable to have ready market before starting out at all.

those are various strains or breeds of broilers. what is most important is the source of your D.O.C. If you buy from non reliable breeder farm. then it is likely for your birds to develop various complications.
