donkafor:They do accept notarization from a notary public. Going to embassy is a waste of time. They accepted my documents certified by ordinary notary public at Ikeja @N200 per page; but make sure there is seal, stamp, signature and date on each page of the documents certified. 1 Like |

hallelluyah: If you were single I would have adviced you to give it a try but as a married man with kids and a good job.. think long and hard about this, you are about to probably destabilise your family and your career. If this is a genuine study venture then it worth a shot but leaving an above average job and family to hustle in Germany makes no sense. Good luck 6 Likes 1 Share |

High Court is difficult from Notary Public.. Going to embassy is not waste of time. What Notary Public charged me 15,000 per set of documents was done free of charge at the embassy for 5 sets of documents. TUM do accept Notary Public. It's all about cost and location. paulbets: |

She mailed the school to renew her letter, they said sh should use it like dat. The school is now on session and she asked me some questions that I need help to answer. She wanna book for interview, how is she going to tell them about her expired letter? Or should she just send it and dey will understand? Now that he school is already on session, is it a problem? |

Mrbigman1: This doesn't make sense at all. Using an expired doc for any visa related purpose should be a no no. Tell her to get an updated one. |

I really appreciate wonderful inputs here. Pleas I need an advice.I did Bio chemistry as a first degree in university but want to study IT program in Germany as under graduate program/bachelor's degree as i can't do masters in IT since its not related to my first degree I had checked the schools in daad and noticed that some courses that are taught in English are under School of Applied Sciences instead of conventional university. Please,is it advisable to apply with them and if I do,do I still need to show blocked account since its undergraduate program. Thanks for your advice. |

Oversworld:I don't think so cos they will check the date of the stamp and the signature. The best thing is to certify. Another documents. |

UncleJudax:Pls UncleJudax,if my state government is willing to give me letter of scholarship, will the German embassy honour it in place of the blocked account? |
Re: General German Visa Enquiries Part 3 by UncleJudax(m): 7:09am On Jun 12, 2017 |
Oversworld:If the certification was done correctly, I don't see why not. As far as I know, expiration dates are not affixed on them, besides 2015 is not that way back anyway. |

kyerps:I really don't have experience with Non European scholarships. Hopefully, someone else addresses your issue. Alternatively, you can contact the Embassy. 2 Likes |

blackcezar:In my opinion, University of Applied Sciences (UOAS) are good for Engineering and IT programs because they are more practically oriented. Yes, you have to show proof of funds/blocked account deposit. |

Just that the date is 2015 and am sending the documents in 2017. Wil it be ok Thank You so much for your view |
