No doubt that there re fake phones in the Nigeria market. But this particular android I bought took me on a surprise (tecno) . I bought it yesterday, it was written 16gb but surprisingly I can't put up to files of 200mb in it. What is happening to the Nigeria market and why re fake product much expecially phones. What's the duty of SON (standard organization of Nigeria) Another case; I bought memory card new one product name (advance) when I wanted to access it with my laptop, it wasn't working fine The Nigeria market is gone if things continue this way.

nkemjacob2:the 'fake' is so glaring. Cloned phones are more the order of the day in the tech market. Infinix hot 4 now has more of fake to the original in our tech market. I just pity this country! 1 Like |

Well as an advice against future reoccurence Things to check to spot fake 1. Is 3G stagnant without turning data on yet? (there are exceptions to this sha) 2. Does d display looks vibrant? (If it's not itel product sha) 3. What does AVAILABLE storage says not TOTAL 4. Check the boot logo 5. Cross check d spec online with the fone u may want to buy (in dis case there is no way dual SIM carries 4G at d same time) 6. Try to multitask a little bit on it, if it hangs at any point while navigating between 3 to 4 apps only (den run for your life) LOL 7. Finally use es file explorer to see the real internal storage or conclusively use CPU Z app to verify RAM, ROM, and display and chipset Those are what I use to spot fake "wannabe's" droids That reminds me the day I almost bought a fake Camon C7 for my younger broda God saved me - those wicked people try well for the fake body and inside but GOD pass dem |

There are accredited Tecno stores. I always tell people to go there for their devices. 3chub, Micro station and Slot are accredited. |

This things is becoming a problem. Infinix had to come out with the differences between the original phones and the fake ones. I think all other brands should follow suit. Tecno inclusive. Or get your phones from tested and trusted sellers. |

chicwoman:People that fall victims of this act are those that don't wanna buy the phones at the stipulated prices. Always looking for Cheap phones. But I think Tecno and the likes should enlighten the public about the presence of fake design of their phones. |

zanga420:Depends on what you mean by cheap. And there are lot of new phones that are affordable. Tecno has the CX Air which is around 49k, Infinix has S2 which is above 55k. What are u looking at getting? |
