EkoErrands: I was about posting a similar conspiracy theory on my Facebook wall but changed my mind. I'm Igbo but an objective one. I see beyond the horizon; something only possible for an objective minded person.
First things first! Anything the North does, there must be an Agenda behind it. Also anything Muslims do always have an agenda behind it. Don't ever take Muslims actions or inactions as ordinary. You may not see the effect immediately but after many years even thousands of years. Utterances made by Mohammed still shapes nations till this day. The north never wants a Christian to rule over them...where do you think this is coming from? Mohammed's lips of course.
I knew 100% that the Kaduna declaration would fool 180 million people ....only a few like the op and myself and any other critical thinker will see through the smoke screen. The real target here is Osinbanjo. The Yoruba's still don't know just how much these guys don't want the VP to take over. They think its negotiable. Far from it. Very far! Am glad I'm not the only one thinking this way.
The last thing the North wants is for Biafra to go....so are u now saying a bunch of half educated youths will give Biafra their wish on a plater of gold. Think well!
By the time the real motive manifests ...the west will be caught unawares. My opinion though! As long as this One Nigeria thing continues and presidents continue to use Aso Rock as official residence, this trend will continue. It is not anyone's manipulation that northern commander in chiefs have been dying in office or failing to complete their term. A bigger force is at work - call it curse or karma. And until Nigeria divides or Aso rock is discarded or both there would always be another "Goodluck" and the ever present Yoruba will be available to fill in the gap. 1 Like |

For example, this thread was born out of a critical look at the entire scenario, but your contributions so far has only pointed fingers and insulted the Igbos, without even giving any objective reason to counter the conclusion of my first post. Now, here are two possible things most likey to happen as the discuss progresses...
1. If I want to match you word for word (Which I won't and you can't force me to) I would have started giving it back to you, using derogatory cliches and all that
2. Someone else will bump into this thread, read the contributions, quote you and match you word for word.
So you see, it's a 50/50 thing. The NL Igbos believe you are insulting them and want to give it back to you. And the NL Yorubas feel same too. That's just what's happening.
Now the big challenge comes when one lets this becloud his real life judgement, such that he can't reason again outside that perimeter. This thread is simply asking you and others to try and reason a bit outside the perimeter of NL Igbos Vs NL Yoruba fighting. Don't fail the readers. It is not 50/50 because it's only the igbos that insult every other tribe in Nigeria as if their existence depends on it. They particularly detest Yorubas because we're the only ones that returns the insult and hate back to back. They insult hausa, yoruba, islam, Pentecostal Christians and non Catholics, Yoruba pastors, Osibanjo, Buhari etc. No other tribe does that except you people. 2 Likes 1 Share |

Those not in support will usually do everything possible to malign the administration. It happens everywhere. I just gave you an example with US politics above. But then, That is the beauty of democracy. I'm surprised you've forgotten so soon the level insults the past administration witnessed. It was so bad that GEJ said that he has come to agree that he is the most insulted President in the world right now. It will be wrong to expect the Buhari administration to sail smoothly without these jabs here and there. If you honestly think that the present so-called Arewa threat to Igbos to leave the North is just because of the May 30th Biafra sit-at-home, then you're to be pitied.
Southerners open your eyes and understand that this is a political card. Learn from history and understand that the Fulani North can do anything to remain in power, even if it means shedding of blood here and there. They allowed Boko Haram to fester just so they can have a major capital for ousting GEJ in 2015 elections, and the plan worked successfully.
I believe that the goal of the present threat is simple. Create a scenario that shows a breakdown of law and order. Sell the present govt as unable to handle the crisis. Topple the govt and conduct fresh elections in a few months where a healthier northerner will win.
It all boils down to the fact that Baba (Buhari) is not coming back to continue his term beyond 2019. And the Oligarchs cannot gamble an Osibanjo presidency.
If you think that the VeePee is in charge of things right now, then you should also go for another mental evaluation. And if you also think that the core northern elites and security forces are not in support of the threat, then you are still sleeping.
Southerners, this is a game. Stop allowing these guys get away with their plans by just throwing the stone of division among you. There is something sinister about this threat to Igbos. It's beyond what you think. A sit-at-home to honor past heroes and heroines, and a threat to leave the North, how do they correlate?
Understandably, IPOB/MASSOB welcomes the move and are trying to cash in on it. But everybody needs to look deeply and not allow the tribal bashings blindfold him or her from seeing the message.

You obviously didn't respond to my post, just conjectures. I hate repeating myself. Good luck. bros1234:
You see what I'm saying. I just proved to you that the insults and online e-fights are 50/50. Use this thread as an example. It may not be used as the only judge but it can also give insight. You've thrown many jabs at me and Igbos, leaving the topic largely not responded to. Others have thrown jabs at the Igbos, without much response in that direction. Why?
Because I choose not to be defined by those jabs from the onset. But chances are that others will come who will not like the way the insults are going and would want to match it back to back. If not here, in another thread
Now there seems to be a feeling of "we've over powered him" in you over the thread. That's funny because in the end we've not seen superior logic, argument or historical facts from you, rather sentimental assertions based on E-fights. And that's too bad
Abs by the way, I'm not new to Nairaland as you thought, at least a check on my moniker will tell you I've been here far much more than you( I may be wrong. I didn't really check). |

I didn't expect you to respond to every post and I don't do roller coasters. And stop calling me bro, that's gender discrimination. bros1234:
Unfortunately I can't reply to every reply here. So bear with me if I don't quote you.
Back to the topic.
You see bro, you've just been saying things the way you think they are. But not following the discussion. Let me remind you again...
Politics always create two groups in every dispensation. Those in support of the administration, and those not in support.
The onus lies on the administration to remain focused, deliver on promises and carry everyone along |
