Axumities never identified themselves as Habesha. The Ancient meaning of Habesha was "people who gather incense in southern Yemen". Amharas aren't Yemenite, rather Cushite. Same goes to Tigrays, Gurages, Harars and Kebessa(Eritrea Tigrinyas or Bahir-Tigringya).

I will identify myself first as an Ethiopian and second as Amhara and Agew/Agaw.

No, I don't think we should stop. We've skillful players, but majority of them lacks the standard football players diets, trainings and others. When those problems are resolved, there is no reason why we can't compete.

Currently, I'm not emotional about Ethiopia football. I will laugh if either they won or lose, because it's bonus for us just to play at that level.
