The power debacle is something else,
The distribution companies are rejecting supply from generation companies, while the discos are yet to massively provide meters to consumers,
The transmission lines are worn out insufficient and outdated,
The gas to power is still having lacuna,
The incessant vandalism of power assets and gas pipelines is another thing,


Places like city centers, and adjoining metropolis in many state capitals usually have stable power,

Also industrial clusters with independent embedded power plants give supply to host and adjoining communities,

Even communities hosting national power plants enjoys stable power,


However, some Nigerians are living off the National grid system independently,


In rural communities, some use alternative sources like gasoline generation sets,

While some average middle class are switching to solar,


On the whole, the government have failed in power sector

I think it depends on your travel agent and the reputation they have. I think you shouldn't have asked " what's better than Kenya in Dubai" or I go slap you! I had a good time and I went to the IMG world ( theme park and rides), it was the scariest thing to do when I rode the "velociraptor" . Spent a week there and it was fabulous.
