Yes na. The Afonja's were the one that were killed during the biafuro war. The Afonja's were the one that died of kwarshiorkor and starvation during the biafuro war. Keep fooling yourself.

Awolowo justified it sadly because he was offered the position of Vice to Gowon by the British Ambassador to Nigeria

I don't see IPOB there. These are just ordinary Igbo men protecting their interests in the North. They are neither leaders nor do they convey the will of the Igbo people.

So too Nnamdi Kanu doesn't represent the wishes and aspirations of the igbo nation. NK is representing u and ur clan not my own people, got it? Ndi mberibe!!

Much as I seem to target Igbos, I think they should be left to rethink their ways. Let peace reign.

No to tribalism!

The entire tribal e-war is unhealthy and makes no sense. Politician of Igbo, Yoruba and Hausa-Fulani extraction will still sit together and enrich themselves corruptly while we stay online and fight each other. The Nigerian masses should unite against the thieving political elites who are our common enemies instead of fighting each other.

There are more Igbo doing business in SE, then SS, followed by SW, the diaspora and the North comes in last.
Tell me what are the names of those "Igbo leaders"

Majority Igbo who became important had Lived in the North in their lives, and most had business in the north.

From Dr. Nnamdi Azikiwe, to Odumegwu Ojukwu, Chukwuma Nzegwu , Cyperian Ekwensi, Rochas Okorocha are among the thousands of Igbo she whose success had to do with the north. Azikiwe was born in Zungeru ( now Niger State) , Ojukwu was also born in Zungeru , his rich father Sir Ojukwu made his money in the north, cyperian ekwensi was born in minna, Chukwuma Nzeugwu was born in Kaduna about 1940.

That is my perspective too. We have one common enemy: all our politicians irrespective of tribe or religion.

One more thing please don't call the common people 'masses'. That's a disempowering word. Call them people. That way you recognise their dignity as human beings. We are not the masses. We are the PEOPLE.

The fear of the North is the beginning of wisdom for cowardly and chest beating Osus.

They thought Yorubas will rise and fight on their behalf.. It's still a shock to them that no prominent Yoruba eg. Soyinka, Falana etc. has come out to condemn the quit notice.
Gone are those days of Yoruba mumuism and 'my southern brother' eyes don clear now.
