what i mean is a filled SEVIS for school A and paid the Sevis fees, but got a better admission with GA a week later from school B and would like to change the details of my SEVIS Record before the Interview date.

Transfer of SEVIS I-901 Fee Possible Before Interview Is Scheduled

If a student has already paid the SEVIS I-901 fee to one school, and received an I-20 or DS-2019 from the same, but has not yet scheduled a visa interview, s/he can request the SEVP to transfer the SEVIS Fee to another school. Student Exchange Visitor Program (SEVP) can transfer the SEVIS Fee at its discretion, if the following conditions are met:
•The SEVIS I-901 fee must be moved between SEVIS ID numbers for the same individual;
•Only the student or exchange visitor may request the move;
•The SEVIS I-901 fee amount for the new school or program must be less than or equal to the SEVIS I-901 fee already paid; and
•An additional SEVIS I-901 fee is not required in the case.If the above conditions are met, the student can request the SEVIS I-901 fee transfer by an eMail with all relevant information to fmjfee.SEVIS@DHS.gov.

What do you all think about applying to the embassy with a passport with less than 6 months for it to expire (so as to meet up for September resumption) while waiting to get the new one which can then be used together after getting the visa to be shown to them at the P.O.E.

Well you can take the risk for visa interview but one thing I know for sure is that you can't travel out of a country with passport expiring date less than 6 months

Yes very possible and you can transfer the sevis payment if that is the question all you have to do is to email sevp/DHS for them to get this done for you.

The truth his if he has Gpa, GRE/Toelf , SOP then he won't waste his resources or cash on 10 schools.

we need to be wise because when someone who doesn't meet admission requirement and keeps applying to over 10 universities, it is certain that the student is wasting his or or money.

It's better for him to check that the school required maybe he has it or not before applying.

Just like you, my school doesn't hand out transcripts to individuals. So I had mine sent to an organization via email, the recipient then forwarded it to me and that's what I used for my applications. I don't think it makes sense to pay each time for a transcript, especially when you can use an unofficial one to apply.

To apply for Visa, your passport must be at least 6 months valid. But you can still use your visa on an expired passport if you get before the expiration. If you need more IELTS resources, contact me.

I really gave it a rethink,I just want to be on a safe side. I was denied in 2013 because of funding. So can u recommend After much consideration. I have my GRE pending for august. Undergrad GPA is 3.41/4 using Wes calculator.
Intending program is MSc Electrical Engineering.

I applied to a school twice for two different programs... Msc Computer Science and Msc Management and information tech. But I was declined twice too. All for this fall semester.
The reason they gave for the former was that I don't have some prerequisite courses on my transcript for the program and the reason for the latter was GPA.
I called the school to tell them that my GPA is quite competitive but the "sabi sabi" person that received the call said "WES inflates GPA for reasons best known to them".
I evaluated my GPA with WES and it turned out to be 3.28/4 (me sef surprise considering that my GPA was 3.54/5).
my GRE score is 291 and 3.5 in AW..
Abeg, gurus in the house prescribe school for D boy o. I dan taya for google.
I am interested in computer science or Management info tech.

I did a quick check on Transcripts posted here with GA for Electrical, and these schools came up Morehead State University , Middle Tennessee State University and a couple of others who did not list the schools... So Maybe you should check these two out

I did.. the munimum requirement GPA is 2.75 and the sabi sabi people said they reevaluated my GPA and got 2.66

but there are no Multiple solutions, if you applied to 2 programs in one school and heard No twice ...... The only one realistic solution is to spread your risk and apply to other schools .
