Laziness is killing so many Nigerian youths today that's why you see them in all the gambling houses all over the nation. The so called graduates are nothing but educated fools that can't make anything out of any amount given to them, their lame excuses are legendary. I called one and offered him #500k to start a business, less than 2 hours I called him to give me back the money and collect cheque only to discover that the nigga don spend 50k already in gambling.

What will make a man to be a gambler if not laziness?.
This is big lie!
No sane man will tell you he spent the money on gambling. Instead, he will tell you he used it to settle debt. So, how did you know he used it on gamble?

500k will change my story right now. I'm ready to set up something even if it's small. But money is my biggest challenge right now. If you will also assist me with a loan with a flexible payback plan. I will be happy even of you barely know me. Please consider me.

Pen it down....
Build a good business plan...
Lots of guys are ready to finance a good plan.

Stop begging

Begging is also a form of laziness

There's nothing the person you are begging can do that you yourself cannot do

Instead of begging, just find something of value to exchange with him

That's what business is all about

This bet thing is killing Nigeria youths. The make it quick attitude is not helping our society.

It's not all about capital capital capital.
It's more of ideas and SkILL than Capital.
A cousin who was given 750k after graduation went broke after 4 months. He has not been able to explain what he used the money for till date.
As close as we are, he has refused to give details to me or anyone else on what he used the money for. The stories he tells doesn't add up.

I have 3 projects I have been planning on kickstarting...

Getting funds has been so difficult...

In case there's anyone here who is willing to give me a grant (or at least a low interest) of $4000 or say N1.2m... I would be grateful...

I have a good credit history, I have not been able to access such amount of funds from creditors due to my relatively low income...

I regularly monitor my debts and debts history with the credit bureau...

I have had history with btcjam.com however, they are closing down by July 2018 while listing/applying for loans has been stopped...

I am pretty sure it is due to defaulters because they were pretty much a lot especially from "countries of repute" like those in Europe and especially the US who were able to get verified easily to get good ratings and all, having their credit limits increased but ended up absconding still... There were lots of defaulters from our side too.

Very few cases were won... others, well... no show

------------------------- My Proposal-----------------------------

--Parameters--
Preferred Credit Type: Grant
Preferred Credit Type 2 (second option): Loan (low interest I hope)
Amount: USD4000 ( or NGN1 200 000)

Current Income: USD 2500 per annum

Status: Single
Accommodation: Rented (1 room) NGN 72 000 per annum
Cars: Nil
Airtime: Minimal ( I hardly call, I am deeply introverted)
Internet: NGN 6000 monthly (on average)
Registered Business Name: Yes (registered early this year 2017)
Experience in said business: over 5 years

-------------Repayment Plan (How I plan to pay back the grant/loan)----------------
I plan to execute repayment of the grant/loan from the business itself, timeline is estimated to be within 1 year.

The aforementioned depends on if the business is even successful, so a contingency plan is needed peradventure things do not go as planned. This will mean repaying from my income. Timeline for this kind of repayment is 3.5 years estimated.

Opinionated:
You have dreamt about it. You can feel it and you are already making money from the enterprise you established. All in dreams. Reality dawns on you and you wish it your dream will become reality instantly. But that is not how it works. You have to work towards achieving your dreams especially if you hope to become an entrepreneur. But you are still lounging and dreaming. This may be due to some habits that you have imbibed over time and this can stop from bring your entrepreneurial dream to fruition. Jumia Travel, the leading online travel agency shares some of these habits.

Saying it’s not the right time

You keep telling yourself that it is not the right time. When is it the right time for you to start your business? The truth is there is never a ‘right time’ to kick off anything because if you wait forever you will do nothing. Start now!

Stressing over personal finances

This has been said time and time again. You do not need to stress too much over your personal finance because it will always be a problem. If you dream to own a business, save money, reach out to friends and investors to source for finance.

Fear of the unknown

You are very comfortable in your comfort zone and you are afraid to leave. You fear what you are going to meet out there. It is better you face this fear and take the risk. It is advisable to try and fail than not taking any action due to fear of the unknown.

Indecision

Making a decision may be difficult but you can not run away from making that decision. You should consult your mentors and other experienced individuals to sort their advice before making that decision. Whatever you decide can make or mar you. Do not worry If it turns out wrong because you have learned a lesson.

Procrastination

We all have the tendency to make excuses for postponing tasks. Do whatever you want to do and face the risk. It is difficult but you have to try.

reaching out to investors in this country? They prefer giving funds to those who will either use the money to marry extra wives or take chieftaincy titles.

Stop stressing yourself explaining to people... You don't owe them any explanation.
You have said what you said and many of us believe you.
Some people here have never seen 500k,so it sounds unbelievable that you gave someone 500k.

Starting a business is one of the most unpredictable ventures I have ever embarked on. It is full of unpredictabilities. In fact, you always get to the point of just giving up, packing your luggages and simply head home to momma. However, the driving force has been to help make the world a better place. That driving force has kept us going even when all else seems impossible.

Some times, I feel getting the normal 9-5 job will be the best. But yet, the driving force keeps telling me that the best is yet to come. Our vision has been to come up with solutions that enhance business and life. This led us to develop an app that is designed to eliminate paper CV, save time and money and ultimately eliminate unemployment world-over.

When we launched www.bejite.com 3 months ago, after working on it for almost 2 years, we thought we had messed up big time. Some unexpected bugs showed up. I was always having sleepless nights thinking this stuff would not make any head way. I had to keep encouraging my colleague and programmer friend to see the bigger picture of what this app is capable of doing. We kept at it and after 3 months, we have a user base of 267 growing at an average of 85 users per month. Although, we targeted 3k initially. But here we are. Still moving on and on and constantly "jumping and passing" obstacles we never anticipated.

The app is designed to offer incredible HR solutions to jobseekers and employers. Connect them together and make recruitment faster. Indirectly, their will be no need of paper CVs and that means, the environment is being saved. Less papers will be demanded and that, for us, is the real deal.

We will continue to add the little value we can as much as possible and by His grace, we will make our world a much better place in the nearest future.

You can check out bejite too and tell us what you think about it. Thanks.

then called him back to collect the cash,
so that you can give him a cheque.

Do you want to rethink the story and start over?
