I cant remember, its been a while. In Ghana, LLB is a bachelors degree although its specialized in law exclusively unlike some common law jurisdiction where you can add other areas to it. Obtaining the BL makes you a professional. And WES doesn't assess the BL for obvious reasons. Like I said, the jurisdictions may have an impact on how it is viewed. But thanks for the info.

Just relax and sip your tea or whatever you like doing. Workload is at an all-time high @IQAS . Calling them won't help either as your transcript will be attended to ( acknowledgment including) when thousands of transcripts before yours have been cleared. So far your transcript has a tracking code and it shows delivered . Chillax, Patience na virtue.

I called them on the 12th of this month and they politely asked me to be patient as they just started working on transcripts received on the 30th of May!

Yes oh - Using gift deed opens your documents to more scrutiny. They know that 99% of gift deeds are actual loans, but with legal documents supporting the gift, there is nothing they can do. Rather they would review your documents very well with the view of finding errors and not completeness. In cases where slight errors can be ignored, they would hold it against the applicant.

These are not my views, but from someone who just got COPR.

My view - I will advise anyone who intends to use gift deed to avoid it at last minute. If your lender can spare the money for 6 months, use another account to collect the money and buy Treasury bills for 6 months or agree with your lender to credit your account with narration - PURCHASE PAYMENT OF ASSETS/CAR/LAND. Then go and get documents to support sales. If you still want to use gift deed - ensure your documents are over complete without errors.

I hope the Visa officers are not reading this comment sha.

17 Sist! As in 17NG0.... U should have had yours by now. Oh.... U in one of those British Council office cities and yet to pick it up I guess. I actually made a guess of the certificate number before arrival by using 16 on my EE profile but got 2 things wrong, I had to go back to correct it. Two zeros were also added before the exam number, I added one. Yours might be different though. I think the exam digits should be six in number hence the reason for 2 zeros. It's 17NG0... once again.

@yimiton: I think I need to add that the certificate date I saw was different from what I expected. It's actually 06/06/2017. I thought it was gonna be 07/07/2017 cos that's d date d online result came up. Dis is also important cos it's requested for.

Bro, I know I'm new here but I think we all need to chill on this gift deed matter. I am a member on Canadavisa forum and I have been through over 400 pages on Reasons for Rejection, not once was the gift deed mentioned as a reason for rejection.

If the person that brought it up can provide evidence, then we can start worrying but till then let us just calm down. A lot of people got their PPR using the gift deed and people are still using it.

I will advice that we get all our gift deeds notarize. It could like 2K or 3K. And try to provide evidence of the transfer into your account.

Brother/ Sister if u don't wanna be banned from entering Canny for the next 5 years, withdraw the ITA. This is cos the date of ECA will be after ITA which be considered falsification
