I'm at my tether's end.pls mamas how do I get my lo to sleep at night.
this boy wakes by 10pm to go back to sleep around 4 and by then I can't sleep anymore. how do you ppl do it cos I'm really exhausted, its so strange to me that a 7 WK would go that long without sleeping. If I say let me sleep in the afternoon,my toddler wouldn't allow me.dh insists we go see a pediatrician 2moro that it isn't ordinary.we take turns carrying him at night.
pls your suggestions is badly needed .
no bother go disturb pediatrician. It is very normal. My 7wks old used to wake up at 9pm on The dot. But now he sleeps as soon as he finish bathing and whenever he wakes sometimes 7pm becomes his morning till 4am. Then after bathing around 7am he sleeps till 11 or 12am. I'll advice that u just be patient and try to sleep when he is sleeping(easier said than done). We just hope they change at 2months cos eh nor funny.

Babe so sorry I'm just coming online. Hope bobo is doing good. I didn't see the pix but I feel that if it's not so bad and won't affect his "performance" in future just leave it be. After all he's not going to be displaying it to the whole world

Please o, make Una help me torchlight this matter

Last week after my son's dedication, he started having cough, then on Wednesday night he had a temperature of 39.2. Since it was very late I used tepid water to clean him and the temperature came down. The cough persisted. On Sunday 2e took him to the hospital, they said to give antibiotics and vitamin c for 5 days. I gave the meds for 5 days but the cough and cold still no go. So I took him back

This time the doctor sent us to the lab for test, he ordered for full blood count and malaria parasite.
Result came back ++ for malaria and traces of infection for the full blood count.
He now placed us on another antibiotics, vitamin c, paracetamol, and coartem for the malaria

Are these drugs not too much for a 4 month old?

Secondly, I fear my son was not properly circumcised. I've been having that feeling for a while so I asked the doctor he said truly there's a little foreskin but that it's not a problem. But in still not satisfied

Please do you mamas think the circumcision should be redone?
I can post pics for better judgement

Then the doctor said my son is overweight at 4 months old
My son weighs 8.2kg. Is this true?

yes u can. I make Virgin coconut oil and grate the carrot and add to the coconut oil in a frying pan and fry for 10mins and filter the carrot from the oil then you have ur carrot oil. I mix honey with raw eggs, I mix avocado with mayonnaise, I buy vitamin e oil from where they sell industrial chemical and use it as conditional each time I wash. All this miximixi Na at different times I dey use them take steam the hair.

Hello mamas and papas. Please I need urgent assistance. I had to change my 18month old baby's diapers to Huggies dat has an Asian baby on it(size 5) as I could not find d Huggies we were using previously here. Each morning he is drenched in urine despite my aunt's claim dat she changes him 3-4 times b4 morning. I tot she was lying until I confirmed ds morning dat a diaper changed by 5am cud not hold urine past 7:30am!! Even if he pees 10x which is not possible for such a short time. I previously told her to look for molfix size 5 but she cudnt find any too, kept seeing size4. Please can someone help give me a name of any functional diaper please.
Seems this size 5 is scarce everywhere,.

Mamas pls, at what age can a child stop wearing diaper to bed?

The body of the rice has brown stripes and it's short kinda. When you get to the market they will show you. It's sometimes called local rice.

Also, I think peak 123 is good also cos I know of mothers giving their babies and no complain. Just take note of any reaction while he is on it, then if you are not comfortable, change it.

Though I read it here sometimes ago that the sugar in peak 123 is much.

For some years?? When did Molfix Pamper fully entered into Nigeria? Was it not last year. I could remember when they were begging me to help them sell their products in my shop which I vehemently refused.(around March 2016)

And I could still remember when I was begging them to supplied me goods which was very hard to come by.(somewhere around, November last year)

It hasn't been long they entered Nigeria. And please stop painting a bad image of the product. It could be that there was some kind of factory errors which could also happen to any other product.

So far, Molfix remains the best selling and the most trusted baby diapers I know. Particularly here where I sell.
Molfix entered Nigeria around late 2013/early 2014. not 2016 o.

Though, I my boy has not been reacting to it since 2015 that we have been on it, but one thing I discovered lately about them is the gel just scattered anyhow unlike before. Why people patronised it more than others is because it has been glorified, I hardly see a baby without using molfix diaper but truth be told, the standard/originality has dropped/fallen/reduced. So, she knew what she talking about.

The size 5 is even scarce now, may be my area sha.

@jazzyjazz abt d interview thing, I also went for one when my baby was barely 3months old, it was hurrible as I have never failed an interview bf..It was like the interviews done at Shell. Although am still applying cos I need to practice what I studied.

Lil advice, in case d issue of y u want to leave your baby and work. Tell them u need to put your brain into use and u never like been idle. Let them c u as a hard-working person... Never mention state of d economy. And y u left your former place, tell them it's cos u needed to do something more challenging, that u were no longer learning anything new so u needed job change and also for greener pasture.

@O.negai correct me if am wrong.....Me sef dey learn.
So many things to learn on this thread. Thanks Jazzyjazz for the topic. I wish u best of luck.

I actually want to make my own rice cereal (I no want buy) my only issue is I don't know the type of rice to use
Someone said ofada rice but I don't even know what that one looks like
Abi is it the same type of rice they use for tuwo chinkafa?

Cc sa.nsa143
Ofada rice in the north here is the normal local rice while the one for tuwo chinkafa is the pure white rice, I think both are nutritious.

Zionx, mamaoo, where are thou?

Mama
pele o
It shall pass.

Does he feed well at night?
He's almost two months.
Do you breastfeed him well, is he on exclusive?

There was a time my girl was always doing that vigil.
But it didn't last.
It was a phase.

You know in the womb, their night is day, and day is night.

Normally, when a child craves your attention at the beginning, it maybe a sign that you are not showing him enough attention.

I remember complaining then, but my sister Mindy told me something that I always keep to mind. She told me to enjoy every time i spent with her. maybe you should too. Sometimes, it's not about changing what we are doing, both changing HOW.

Then, if my little one tries to frustrate me with that her eyes that shines wa wa wa wa.
I will just be singing for her.
and let her know that I am there.
I also take that opportunity to pray for her.
Basically, it's about being present in that moment.

Do you co-sleep?
Is it possible for you to lie down and breastfeed him, if you are interested, I can show you pictures. ohhhhhh, that style really helped me!
but one has to be careful and ensure that the bed is wide enough.

try to turn off all lights.
like jazzy said then, it's only her nokia torchlight she keeps on.

Your little one is simply becoming aware of his new world and he is fascinated. if he disturbs, it's because he wants more of you.
Pass through this phase with joy, and take as much pictures as you can. record videos too.
It'll soon be over.

Ehya pele.
When he wakes, feed him and back him. Then find a way to lie down and sleep with him on your back. Maybe kneeling against the bed.
You can try to get a recliner and put him to chest while you sleep.
Some babies just want to feel you. Have you tried putting him on your body to sleep? My mom did that for all my kids and they slept at night fitfully. Problem is weaning them off it. cheesy
