Vacancy exists for the position of an Internal Audit Officer in a reputable organization involved in Capital Market operations, with annual turnover in excess of One Billion Naira.
Internal Audit Officer
· Responsible for executing an audit engagement following the approved audit program.
· Prepare or contribute to the preparation of work plans (including risk assessment) and audit programs for assurance and/or consulting engagements.
· Conduct discussions of preliminary nature with heads of units audited.
· Conduct – in accordance with IIA standards segments of financial, operational and compliance audits of complex operations and conduct similar audits
· Obtain required information directly or indirectly through examination of records or Interviews with staff.
· For the processes audited, review and evaluate the system of management controls and assess their adequacy and effectiveness.
· Prepare working papers documenting adequately work performed.
· Draft segments of the reports and communications on the results of work performed, for review.
· Assess the reliability and effective use of internal controls and assist in reviewing Administrative procedures.
· Gather adequate, reliable, related and useful evidence to authenticate audit findings and to maintain the evidence as record.

Requirement
Minimum second lower degree in Accounting from a reputable University.
ACA/ACCA is compulsory
Minimum of 3 years post qualification experience in the Audit firm/Financial Service sector
