Every man to his region, Nigeria for us all "United states" is totally different from "one nigeria". Regionalism will not change nigeria one bit. It failed 50 years ago, and it will fail again. If you ask awolowo today if he supports regionalism, i am very sure he will oppose it. Regionalism will only increase hate and envy. It lead us to the first coup and civil war just six years after gaining independence. How are you sure it wont happen again. Disintegration is the only way out. We had proved that at no time was Yoruba marginalized by GEJ. Yoruba got allocated the post of speaker of house of rep by GEJ and PDP, Yoruba under Tinubu rejected the post and gave it to Tambuwal just to mock GEJ and reposition yourselves for VP in 2015. We also showed that Yorubas got their due of federal government allocations and that what Yorubas tagged marginalization was GEJ taking away their lionshare to make space for those who don't have any share at all or that were shortchanged years before by Yorubas , we used the aviation industry to highlight this. We also showed that at no time between 1999-present did Igbo demand for Biafra waned. We have the blood of massacred MASSOB members in Ezu river and those killed and imprisoned by Nigeria security agencies to prove this, therefore, the idea of Biafra only resurfacing after GEJ loss propagated by Arewa-Oduanistanis is only but a figment of their delusional minds. Having done the above, we realized that we had cut the head of the serpents, we can allow their lifeless body dance around for as long as they can, the important thing is that the damage had already been done. The thread was all about Yoruba alledged marginalization , and from the beginning of this thread, we had shown that Yoruba were never marginalized anymore than SE was by GEJ. Once we established this fact, it became obvious that Ndiigbo cant be rejoicing over Yoruba marginalization, when no such marginalization ever existed. We were merely bemused by your desperate attempt to blackmail GEJ and justify your treachery of gravitating towards a Northern alliance to his (GEJ) detriment. 3 Likes |
