I understand that the world is westernized in a way and even the phone we use, together with almost everything that makes up the modern world is hugely of western influence. But at the end of the day, our culture is the only thing we have to preserve or at least modify in the modern era, or don't you think so?

I mean preserve our culture in the form of art, useful culture, not useless ones like killing twins, drinking cow blood, or sacrificing to the gods.
All apparently stupid practices must be discarded, especially religious/spiritual rites that makes no sense. The middle eastern religions we have today( Christianity and Islam) should both be tamed and followed with greater insight, but our art in fashion, sculpture, literature, and music must be projected to the world.
Music especially as a universal language can have both western and afro influence.
