Allergic:I recommend WordPress for simple website design. It's critical to learn the basis, but anyone who wants to make money faster as web designer should learn WordPress. And, if you learn how to create wordpress plug in and edit wordpress themes... i see no reason why you can't build any type of website |

Barigaboy:You can actually write your codes (html, css and javascript ) in any text editor notepad ++, sublime text and the likes. However to make your work easier and faster you can choose an IDE(WYSIWYG) and stick to it. For example you can write your javascript in dreamweaver, visual studio etc. Depending on the nature of the job. You can also learn how to use some CMS. (WordPress and Co. ) My advice, start from learning how to write raw html & css. You will later learn advance web development to create robust solutions that manage data and create some logic the learning curve includes (php &mysql) (Microsoft asp. net &sql server) And the likes. 1 Like |

No, you dont. Just learn HTML, and be a bit flexible with it, then learn any of the CMSs like Joomla or WordPress. But i suggest wordpress, and that'll be ok. .5omGG |

Sulaimonsb: Damn, I don't even know why I am wasting my time with all these street developers and designers. You don't even know the difference between web design and web development. Google is just a tab away to helping you. Web design deals with User interface (UI) and User Experience (UX). Tools used here are photoshop, fireworks, illustrator etc, this is where usability, look and feel come handy. While Web development is classified into two: front end development (browser side) and back end development (server side). In front end, you have CSS, HTML, JAVASCRIPT etc. while back end you have PHP, C++, JAVA, ASP.NET, Python, C#, etc. Some people are here to learn, don't mislead them if you don't know what you are saying. And don't bother responding to me with the crap you have to say |
