Hmmmn, sincerely speaking, I am so tired and exhausted. I made the beans this afternoon, they tasted just three spoons as usual and refused taking it again. I don't know what else to do, I have tried almost every cereal I know, semi draw soup, Pap, bought august secrets foods yet they won't eat. All they want is breast milk, then they ear mashed yam / potatoes and butter well. They dont take formular alone except i mix with cereal even that only three spoons. I am exhausted !

Try gerber rice or oats, mix it with gerber apple juice, don't add any milk oh. I am sure they will love it. When my second child rejected every food from cereals to adult food, to the extent that he became weak and cried all the time cos d breast milk was no longer enough for him, Gerber foods restored his appetite

So i woke up today and decided that we will try mashed sweet potatoes+titus fish for the first time. I made it and started feeding her with all the joy in my heart,

she took the 1st spoon and made the usual gra-gra face....
took the 2nd spoon and wanted to spit it out but changed her mind ...
took the 3rd spoon and was still doing the face but she no spit am out o
took up to 7 spoons and dozed off...

I trashed the rest, thankfully I didnt make so much... At least we have tried a new meal today, and even though she didnt eat much cos its still new to her, I trust that next time she will do more than 7 spoons.

Ma'am I think you should be patient with them cos as time goes on they will adapt,so am not the only one going through the frustration of child rejecting food..I now pray to God daily to touch the boys heart because am really frustrated,i got a multivitamin that doubles as appetite stimulant VITANE ,you can check it out,he has improved a bit ever since I started giving it to him..shalom

Pls, don't give him those measured milk o. You can give start giving him Nido or any other brand but make sure its full cream milk and not filled version,

Also, I think peak 123 is good also cos I know of mothers giving their babies and no complain. Just take note of any reaction while he is on it, then if you are not comfortable, change it.

Though I read it here sometimes ago that the sugar in peak 123 is much.

Miksi is not that bad. Although I prefer nido,normal Peak or Dano. It boils down to preferences. At 1, your baby should have other sources of calcium and not only milk. You can boil bones and give them the water to drink. The bone marrow is very nutritious.

I want to rant please. on d issue of job searching. Am getting pissed. I was granted application in two diff hospital but the conditions given was wack I must say. Am planning to quit searching and continue to sleep home till November when I will start my internship.

Mama, if some muslims work there, then I believe it's a 'dress code' policy and not a 'no muslims' policy; a dress code the hospital expects you to abide by irrespective of your religion.

Don't give up dear, when my baby rejected oaths too what I did was to blend banana with the oaths then mix with his formula and guess what he loves it. You can try that too.

Sweetie if you don't eat well it will affect your milk production. Also if you need to introduce formula till you adjust don't feel guilty, the only important thing is for your baby to be healthy. You can even stop the formula when your production is better or you're well rested. If you have a breast pump you can express for dh to help you feed and you can sleep. You need to be rested and healthy so you can take care of your baby

@ fruitful home, I don't want to believe it's because u breastfeed while lying down that is the cause. If it is so, my 3 kids would have had d same problem. In short I am suppose to receive an award for that, I don't get up when my baby cries, I ll just shift her close to me and put breast in her mouth, did same for my older kids, I never visited d hospital once

How I go do now? So I was told my MIL and my mum ooo. I can't even tell them about the puss because they wil blame and crucify me. I read online that one of the causes could be bottle feeding baby while he is lying down. That is why I'm feeling whether its true
