I drove to mobil petrol station on airport road, and replaced the tyre with the spare, I can explain how we shifted the engine, but we sha tried, and the wooden base of the boot was never the same again (engine broke it)


Engine arrived workshop and my children began work straight.....

Crankshaft pulley had to be replaced, it was bent

Next, just throw it into the engine bay

When the old engine was taken out, the main sub frame(beam) was washed to ensure it was clean.(free of ikorodu mud )

I forgot to mention this. New engine came with 1vtech solenoid and 1 vtech pressure switch, so I had to swap in my old one into the new engine (ugly dirty body )

I washed it thorolly with a wire brush, but mehn if it's not panadol, e cannot fit be like panadol

Next is to flush all pipes.

Vehicle just got a new lease of life no point allowing any old aburo fluids in the power steering lines or old oil in the heat transfer transmission cooler lines on radiator.

After flushing

*power steering lines

*A/C lines

*Heat transfer lines for transmission oil from.
Radiator.

Next it was time to wash the actual radiator.

It was filthy

The power steering fluid container was also washed clean.

Engine mount on the front right and base of gearbox also replaced.

Time to install fluids

Also installed compressor oil ND8 synthetic.

A/C time.......

Pulled a vaccum to ensure no leaks....
It held at -13psi high and -12psi low for over an hour. So for sure my Gas will not be wasted.

Engine oil was at the full mark and as clear as ororo. I will use this engine oil for 2000miles before changing

I bleed the re charge hose, not the a.c system of the car.

One advice though, pls keep those headlights you removed. I have a hunch you will fall back to them in the next 1 year when these new ones change colour.

I have already put them safely in storage.
