I'm applying for Msc computer science spring 2018 at the following schools

Kent state university
Midwestern university
University of Bridgeport
City university of New York new paltz

I'm hoping I can get full funding with this profile from this schools...anyone who can suggest other schools that Can offer full funding with this profile will be really appreciated..

That point should be mandatory reading for intending students here. I've seen the repercussions of this many a time - sorry to say, but if you attend many of the lesser known historically black colleges, many big companies will simply thrash your job application.

yes some schools do I've seen some here who have gone to the extent of even having a visa interview.
but as for idea on any schools I don't have any idea on one maybe you can get the list of schools you wanna apply and email them about your level of education then wait for a reply ...
or you can search also you will be surprised the amount of info you will find

Please what are his chances of getting admitted to schools like ETSU, MTSU, Minnesota state uni as his UG CGPA is quite low, I advised him to prepare well, write and ace GRE. He holds B. Tech in Applied Chemistry CGPA 2.56/5
IELTS 6.5
Please your advice in this regard will be highly appreciated......

my advise for you is to apply for bachelor's degree No standard university in US will accept your HND.

I wanted to have my i-20 picked up directly from my school via DHL from Nigeria, but the school refused saying it's against d school policy. The best option is to have someone in d school pick it up, then DHL can then pick it up from d person....same thing I did.

i get your point, and your method. some schools would release to DHL though, cos not every school is registered with eship.

In my opinion,
1. Your friend needs to score high in the GRE to boost his profile. By high, I mean Q and V scores that are over 155 to get a good chance.
2. He should also give a compelling reason as to why he merely escaped a third class in his SOP. The keyword here is compelling.
3.To be truthful, you don't really know what your chances are when you apply. You just ensure you meet most or all of the requirements and keep praying.
4. Does he have research or work experience? If he does, he can start talking to any of the lecturers in those chemistry departments before applying.

Use the search button on this forum and search (select Travel section ) for Visa Transcripts that got funding.
Then make a list from that....

November 17. This was the day i had my first interview and i flopped. I prayed a little tapped my phone around,texrem was busy he was able to only help with about one or two mocks ,so i revised alone but that wasn't the cause of the failure. The inability to adequately defend what i was going abroad for was the cause of the failure.My sister said we should fast ,i cut our fasting inbetween it was dry fast. The first interview went thus;
me: good morning sir.

vo: why are you going abroad ?
me:for my bachelor's degree in Consrtuction management.
vo: why this school:
me:i choose this school because of their.... because of the way their syllabus is structured.
(i felt i had killed it before he killed me too)
vo:how is the course's syllabus structured?
me:opens mouth,searching my mind like google. i finally said it is structured in. a way that it helps me....and thats's how he said he can't approve it.That i haven't proven that i'm going as an immigrant.i got the blue paper.i got a damn blue paper.
Interview 2.... January.
what messed this up for me?
This time around i wasn't prepared mentally,emotionally,spiritually or prepared at all. My dad was in the hospital bed after slipping on the staircase and falling and i was attending to him,and i slept at 12 woke up at 4,....someone who's taken care of a neurosurgical patient will understand. On the day of the interview i didn't pray,i was bitter,unprepared and all sorts. i got to Walter Carrington.
And here's how me and the vo conversed......

me:i'm fine sir.
vo:so,why are you going to the USA?
me: To pursue my bachelor's degree in Construction management.
vo: why US?
me: The USA is a country that is well fecognized for it's academic excellence and enhanced learning experienced,also the USA has one of the best educational system in the world offering flexible educational opportunities accross 4000 institutions.
vo:tell me abut your school....
me:..... i did,explicitly.
vo: Is your brother in the US?
me: yes,he is a.... (now pause,had i shut my fat beak here i'd be in the US already. i saw it in his eyes he wanted to give me so bad,but what...check out my stupid response after the 'yes' where i should have shut up.) ...he is a citizen and he is living well...He works for bla...bla...bla... and i am not going there because of him but to pursue my career. Now in what sense is this wrong In the sense that my education isn't the career.
So he moved his hands down picked that same useless blue paper making it number 2,....

After much denial i was fed up and just didn't want to apply again,but my brother urged me. I did,and this time i was FURIOUS and determined i will not waste 64k. 2 months before interview i fasted 3 days dry... on day 2,exactly at 3pm,there i was telling myself,...egn,it's not yet time,...i broke the fast...haaa! Was this not the devil playing me? Fast-foward to 4 days to interview. I fasted the dry and i didn't break inbetween....Lol.
Na God...
I prayed and cried my heart out to God. Thus time around i researched very ,very well,knowing the number of credit hours...the schools history..my faculty's board as in you would think i had nithing else to do,but in the long run it paid off... interview day i keft from igando that morning at 4am. got to walter Carrington at 6am. Can you believe i forgot my sevis rciept Lwkmd....bu right now i'm glad i did,thiugh i paid a heavy amount to print it...God forgive those people...God was planning,i was stupid...if you prove to be smart then there's no space for God.i went in and out of the embassy 3 times before and after interview.
1. I didn't have sevis.
2. i had a nail-cutter as my key-holdér and they said no sharp objects.
3. To go and withdraw money for reciprocal fees (after approval).

Do you all see how God delayed me but for good??

Now to the main course....

i was sent to the guy that interviewed me last time.. i was already broken when i saw his face.... i had seen my end,but i couldnot see what my God was seeing.

me: this school is a public four year university,located in... they are part of the xyz state colleges and universities system,they also have over 125 student bodies and they offer 75 majors.Established in...., its is part of the tric-college university system...

can you believe i didn't sign my i20 until i went back home?

i was disarrayed and unprepared mentally ,but God was prepared.

Here's what was funny,it was as if this bros,didn't want to ask me questions.It was as if he had made up his mind.
He asked me about my brother,i said the same nonsense,but this same guy who denied me for that reason,approved me. Now tell me why won't God be praised. Abeg help me thank God.

For thise applying:
This is a matter that needs utter concentration. No be joke. Treat it like a joke and it'd show you it's funny.
Olease read this few advice...:
1: Pray,pray and pray more...as my pastor says,'you can never overpray you can only under pray'
2. Don't cram o... You will regret it.Understand what you are saying ,because if they ask you question,you'd feel like a faulty car with no breaks.
3. Oractice ,practice and more practice...
4. Don't read testimonies and fail to remember you haven't gotten yours.
5. Be google friendly, the people here have their lives and remember you are not thr only one trying to get yours.
6..... The God that did mine,will do yours,if you have good intentions for going. God bless you and have a wonderful year.
