GoroTango: Power belongs to the people. There's a likelihood that there'll be election failure in the East in two years time. They had better realise early, for their own good, how influential NK and the *ignorant youths are. 6 Likes |

This babafemi ojudu guy is a lesson to us all to take care in our trust in our fellow human beings, this is the same guy behind the news magazine we were gobbling fast and pushing us to confront ibb and abacha then, every anti abacha poster i glued to the wall in enugu i regret, these guys were just tribal barons masquerading as progressives, am even wondering is there a truly progressive non tribalistic person among the Yorubas 6 Likes |

jomonic:It's perfect name for Nigeria. The same way it's very okay when people. Refer to the SE as the Wild. To be fair to them, your life in the SE is similar to what obtains in the Wild. Kill or be killed. The little lousy Dilector just got served. He is fast being relegated to the background technically. Oblivion is sure for him. 1 Like |

azimibraun:Cool! keep on dreaming, it is allowed. you nigerians love burying your heads in sand. The successful sit at home protest of may 30 should remind you of something. FYI nobody cares about ohazesendi Mkpi. We don't give a rat's a55 about what they think, so they can engage in marathon meetings how they like, it won't change a thing. But only a word from NK is enough, so much for being relegated to the background. Na wa for zoo people. 6 Likes |

What dialogue would FG be having with someone who is demented? They have made the right decision to speak with reasonable circus from SE and that is enough. The IPOB approach to their secession is barbaric and shameful. 7 Likes |

HiddenShadow: You see yourself? You should be very very concerned about this sort of meetings because the people of influence the FG is engaging are the ones backing kanu. I understand what FG did and by snubing kanu is good. They will divide his camp and have reduced him to size. THE TRUTH IS THAT WHEN THERE IS A PROBLEM, IT IS ADDRESSED AND SOLUTION IS DISCUSSED AND PERHAPS PROVIDE; that is what the elders representing the East have done. They tabled their concern and it MUST be addressed now. Kanu has no solution to the problem on ground (which is dialoging and negotiating), instead he wants to create a bigger problem called referendum. At the initials, it will cause a lot of problems for the igbos outside the East. Many may never recover from the loss of their business. Let's not fool ourselves, Rome wasn't built in one day. So ordinarily, will you invite kanu if you were FG or speak with people who are ready to listen. Kanu's ears are blocked and he doesn't want to dialogue becos he wants to make history, hence he was snubbed. Do you think all igbos want to leave Nigeria? The number of those who wishes to leave will surely be more as all who resides in the east will vote in its favour but there are hundreds, or perhaps close to a million outside the east who would vote against it. It's easy to ask for it from the east because you are not relocating but if you were to move from a city to a village then you will understand how difficult it is when you have to leave your estates and empire behind (whether you are poor or rich). Lapido market at mushin operated during the Sit at home demonstration because those guys are about business. Do you know how many million is in ladipo, Alaba, idumota etc? The market is here and most of these igbo guys won't leave. If you want a fair vote for referendum then conduct it only in cities outside the east and see how many easterners want to come back. All my friends that I tease during discussions, ALL SAID GO DO WETIN? I NOR DEY GO ANYWHERE! These people are Nigerians and they feel Nigerian too and it's like robbing them if you ask them to leave. I expected that IPOB will use this medium to negotiate something good for igbos when it comes to governance or force re-structuring to take place. This is why he isn't considered a leader of thought because IPOB has been more of a gra-gra movement (an agitation) and he has been disrespectful and insultive too. Leaders lead by example! By the way, I'm delta ibo so that you don't say I'm being sentimental. 8 Likes |

There is a different table for Nobles and Renegades. Kanu cannot sit on the same table as the nobles. He is not an Igbo leader of thought simple. In as as much as he has a an ignorant cult followership that does not translate to official leadership recognised by the law. 6 Likes 1 Share |

GoroTango: Who are the Leaders of Thought? The ones chosen by your federal government or the one the people of the zone listened to? Put all those leaders of thought that your federal government gathered in Aso Rock together; they don't have the power and or the authority to order the Igbos to Sit at Home for ANY REASON. Ndi Igbo knows their leaders of thought, Aso Rock know those they use to destroy the Igbo agenda. 8 Likes |

wordcat: I thought your leaders of thought are your chiefs, kings, ohaneze etc. Are these not the people that makes decisions in the east and lead the people too? IPOB is not a recognized body in the eastern leadership hierarchy with regards the igbo tradition. It is just a social group with political interest, just like arewa and the likes. 3 Likes 1 Share |
