I have been hearing about issues, violence, havoc etc being recked by fulanis and their aids. It is exasperating to note that most of these atrocities were not actually committed by fulanis but hoodlums that also want the blames to be put on the Fulanis. My facts about the Fulanis are based on my experience in the field involving crisis attributed to the Fulanis.
Follow me:
1. Fulanis are accommodating just like the yorubas.
2. Fulanis DO NOT burn religious houses when they attack(like the one in Mile 12, people started saying they were hausa/Fulanis). Never they don't. What they do is burn houses kill people etc but not religious houses.
3. They respect men in the Military, especially the Nigerian Army.
4. They DO NOT take religion to the extreme a similarity with the yorubas.
5. A Fulani can come to marry from your house & if possible change his religion because of that obligation.
6. Fulanis LOVE their cows more than anything else. I witnessed several incidents involving this. One is where a fulani herdsman's wife was in labour while the fulani was away with his cows. After several calls for him to come and attend to his wife in labour he didn't come back till he was through herding his cows. But it was late because the wife died during labour.
7. Fulanis are straight forward people. They have integrity.
8. They listen & obey their leaders(ADO).
9. THEY DO NOT FORGIVE.
10. Fulanis will not strike first except you strike them.
11. If their cows damage your crops or farm products they WILL PAY for the damages when the proof is there and you complain to them.

THEY DON'T FORGIVE! thats enough for me to run away from them.

THEY LOVE THEIR CATTLES MORE THAN ANYTHING . Thats even enough for me to run away even if i see the horns of their cattle on the floor.

THEY ACCOMMODATING BUT WHEN FIGHT COMES, THE STRANGER WILL SURELY FACE DEATH . i think that's enough for me to stay away.

THEY DON'T BURN CHURCHES BUT HOUSES AND PEOPLE. They tell you say na church i de live? Enough for me to disappear when they appear.

Lalasticlala, no form of tribalism intended but my opinion and choice disclosed

Your facts are incoherent and contradictory. Am a staunch muslim and supporter of anything Islam but never a supporter of criminality and Injustice

It is complete criminality for fulani herdsmen to attack their host, it is injustice to support fulanis roaming states with their cows. Let them establish their business according to todays business practice standard or better roam their cows in the regions which is predominantly habitated by fulanis.

Irrespective of our bias, religious or tribal inclinations, we must learn to differentiate our sentiments from what is right and wrong.

I am usually surprised when people tag Fulanis as violent. The ones I met in Kaduna are very peaceful. In fact, I even visited their homes and they gave me 1,000, nunu (the one they make from cows) and chicken. I also observed that the villagers (complete Christians) do seize their cows and rams when they enter their farms and the Fulanis do pay for damages, which could reach as high as 15,000.

All Fulanis are different and they are a diverse group of people. It's just like judging Yorubas by the actions of the agberos and omo-oniles or judging the Niger-Deltans by the actions of the militants.

There would always be a bad people wherever you find groups of people.

Dat is if u start d fight 1st. Y start a war u can't finish? Those days if Fulani cows eat the farmers farm products and d villagers complain. The ARDOs back den Alhaji Ibrahim wuld call me to ascertain the damages done and the cost. There was a time it cost the fulanis two cows which they sold to get d money and pay the village farmers immediately. So y wuld u take laws into ur hands dat u want to avenge d wrong or damage done to ur farm? Am totally against it. I blive in settling d matter peaceful. When farmers kill Fulani nobody hears
But when Fulani kills farmers the whole country will hear

The attacks and repraisal attacks of Fulani and farmers dated way back and to solve this issue once and for all the anti-grazing bill must be passed into law in all states . Anyone that wants to rear cattle should do so in an enclosure

My own, Fulanis are very aggresive and brutal when offended.

You are a hypocritical religious bigot

As if there are no Christians that claim they are religious and there is nothing Christ-like in them. What is Christ-like in FFK,fayose,sm afolabi,Evans, rev king, alamesiagha, james ibori, rochas okorocha, allayson madueke, even gowon that committed genocide on biafran Christians!...

infact, what is even christ like in all igbo Christians?.Threatening to burn down the whole innocent people in the country? looking for hausa people in buses to kill? insulting other tribe pastors?

if you want to attack Islam out of your islamophobia.open a separate thread and do that!

That's one is what used to happen. Even here in my side the emir said if they invade our farms them go pay Tara. Whosai nobody has paid jack! Last year they ran over my farm and mowed it like the pitch in Old Trafford. Nobody can do anything, I wanted to take it up and report but neighboring farmers begged that if I do and when they come for vengeance they'll not meet me but the poor farmers.

It's a whole new ball game officer, the Fulani guys doing this ish are not like the peaceful quiet ones we used to know. The killing ones don't have any ardo you can report to, they just show up and dissappear some add rape and robbery to it.

I just taya for the matter. You guys should do another sharan daji in the north Central area because when people get pushed to the wall they'll form militias and the blood will flow for the next 20 years.
