Governor Nasir el-Rufai of Kaduna State has reiterated his commitment to prosecute those who issued 3 months ultimatum to the Igbos to vacate North.

Although the governor had issued the arrest order through the state ministry of justice in the state the next day the threat was issued, but no arrest or prosecution had been made till date.

Mr el-Rufai, while receiving Igbo delegate Assembly as well as Igbo chiefs resident in North, said no matter how long it takes, those behind the provocative statement will no go unpunished.

The governor noted that Kaduna state has been negatively affected by several crisis and that he would not tolerate such careless comments capable of inciting violence and hatred among the people.

"Since the press conference where the quit notice was issued was conducted in Kaduna, Arewa Youth must be arrested and brought to justice no matter how long.

"If the meeting were held anywhere else, we would just have condemned it like any one else. But it held in Kaduna, so we will arrest them"

No the deed is not done until there is complete break down of order, then their army will intervene and take over government, kill Osunbande if he proves stubborn, then conduct another election where a Hausa man will be installed as president. Case closed! They know the vegetable has crossed the Rubicon and not coming back.


Osunbande is aware of this plot to destabilize the government under him.

Arresting Arewa youth will definitely make quit notice effective. Igbo should stop calling for the arrest if they still want to stay in the north. When you get them arrested there will be protest they will target the igbo and that is the beginning of the end of Nigeria
