Why do you need to impress me? Ohh, to clear up the mess of "PHARMACOLOGY definition". Eyah. Ndo

All I requested was, "WHAT CAUSES MALARIA and not WHAT ARE THE parasites that CAUSES MALARIA".

Facedesk when face-palm couldn't help..........

Eww, trying too hard to impress me won't help you Sir

Proof that anyone knows their onions in medicine is when detailed responses are given to definite questions.

What causes Malaria? The answer is Plasmodium which are in different strands and occur in specific regions geographically. Their symptoms vary based on the strand and if you do not fully understand the individual symptoms and strands then how would you offer effective treatment?

By the way, I gave you the simplest definition of pharmacology the other day and just to get your pound of flesh from me you called it a faux pas even when you knew it wasn't.

So now can you share with me the medical research you have carried out as the acclaimed pharmacologist you are which explains all these medical mysteries and out of what knowledge you are using to criticise me.

I am patiently waiting.

You are overly blind to obvious things. Despite the fact that F is clearly displayed beside my ID you repeatedly address me as a sir or a dude or a Mr same way you could not clearly see the difference between SURGERY and SURGEON.

Yet you want anyone to believe you are "intelligent"?. Dream on!

Na wa, o! shocked One medical doctor says she believes that this case is a medical miracle. Another one claims there is nothing like that, and goes further to attack her credentials. Why??! Can't people hold on to their beliefs, anymore? Does it make you a bad doctor, if you believe in miracles?

Believing in the miraculous as a medical practitioner makes one sensitive and very compassionate as against all the monotony and lack of compassion from those who don't.

A lot of doctors who do not believe in Miracles would always offer you extremely depressing words even when ones health condition is true to their diagnosis. Instead of them to offer you hope via alternatives such as "Prayer" or "Make peace with your maker", they rather tell you to go home and wait till you die because medically they have nothing to offer and as such since they have nothing to offer then as far as they are concerned, you have no hope elsewhere since medicine is supposed to hold all their answers.

I go against the grain.

Lazarus Syndrome is not a miracle.

Is Lazarus syndrome an empirically verified medical position?

Lazarus syndrome is called a Phenomenon and you know why? It's because it's cause or explanation is in question.

So I ask again is Lazarus syndrome empirically verifiable in medicine?

It has been found to occur in patients in whom resuscitation was attempted with medical literature to back them up.
Isn't that significant?
At least, you now agree that Lazarus Syndrome is a thing. In our last conversation it sure didn't sound like it.

Sorry I agree to nothing. Where did you see me agree to it being a "thing"?

By the way the Lazarus phenomenon also occurs in those who did not receive resuscitation attempts as well especially when nobody who was specialised in that was available.

You people are so quick to say rubbish about religion. How does this concern religion? This is a miracle and whether you accept it or not is irrelevant

That quack is who you call a professional? A medical doctor who says a person is certified dead when the body is warm and dead, is that one doctor? Thrash!

How does this concern religion? that enough shows how reasonable you are.
If I may ask, what is a miracle and who does miracle.

if you're smart enough to know 1+1=2 you would've seen that this is not an atheist vs theist debate, the first "Doctor" on this thread said he/she is a theist, Christian to be specific

about "holding on to belief" I'd expect people not only question my beliefs, but ridicule them when they're ridiculous. Someone who lets me keep believing the moon is made of green cheese isn't doing me any favors at all.

You called it its name and explained it. In our last conversation, you didn't even mention the name, so, that's acknowledgement.

Lazarus Syndrome is a known entity in medicine I say again. So many explanations have been brought forward and they are being evaluated. That there's no foolproof explanation today doesn't mean there won't be one in the next 3 years.
Then, you'll have to chalk off "rising from the dead" from your list of miracles as every single medical phenomena that has confused humanity in the past and move on to the next one.

Why would I not call it by its given name or should I have constructed a non existent name for it? My calling it by name does not show acknowledgement but it shows reference to another position which wasn't mine. Get it?

Lazarus syndrome is a known entity in medicine which is shrouded in mystery so do not make it sound like its a known entity as a fact of medicine which is empirically verifiable. That would be dishonesty.

Why don't you try this. The next time a person dies on your watch and you try resuscitation and it does not work, do not put down time of death but leave him to experience the Lazarus syndrome since all who came back according to you all had resuscitation attempts first carried out on them.

Try this on 100 dead people under your watch then state your observations. Deal?
