Conoil has been very consistent. It dividend paying history is one of the best. How the market overlook this kind of stock sometimes leave me wondering. It is surely a stock to have. See the way they displayed their dividend history in the result. I think it is good for long to medium term investing. |

OlugbengaE: Mr. corrector. Try checking your capitalization, punctuation and grammar structure when correcting others. It is "it's either" NOT "it either". It is 'go down' NOT "goes down". Concentrate on how to make money instead. That's what we do here, not English tutorials. 4 Likes |

There is one stock in the insurance sector called WAPIC.I have been watching the stock in both technicals and fundamentals. It is one of the stocks FXUSER mapped out as JUJU stocks of the year.Looking at it,its like the stock will do well in price in the short/medium term. What i want to find out from the gurus in the house about this stock is this; The stock has over 13B OS and planning to raise 10B naira in right issue. -Will this news be positive to investors? -What is the assurance this stock will not go for reconstructions pre or post right issue. -Is there any evidence the company will improve in both top and bottom lines? -Will the company likely push the price further before the right issue? Pls my brothers,i will like to hear a recommendations/criticisms in this mentioned stock. Thanks. |

MSCI delays decision on the reclassification of the MSCI Argentina and Nigeria Indexes https://www.proshareng.com/news/CAPITAL%20MARKET/MSCI-delays-decision-on-the-reclassification-of-the-MSCI-Argentina-and-Nigeria-Indexes/35243 Nigeria MSCI announced that it is delaying its decision on a potential reclassification of the MSCI Nigeria Index to stand-alone market status to the November 2017 Semi-Annual Index Review. On April 21, 2017, the Central Bank of Nigeria introduced a new FX trading window for investors and exporters that aimed to facilitate the repatriation of capital. To date, investors seem to be cautiously optimistic on the effectiveness of this new window but still require more time to test it further. As a reminder, the Central Bank of Nigeria pegged the local currency to the US dollar in the first half of 2015, resulting in a sharp decline in liquidity on the foreign exchange market, particularly at the beginning 2016. Hence, the ability of international institutional investors to repatriate capital has been significantly impaired to a point where the investability of the Nigerian equity market is being questioned. 1 Like |
