After the long wait, lots of rumours and speculations, OnePlus has finally launched its much awaited 2017 flagship phone which is the OnePlus 5. The OnePlus 5 is no doubt a flagship killer with its impressive specs, most especially the 8GB RAM which makes it the first smartphone to officially feature an 8GB RAM.

As usual, OnePlus didn't disappoint in terms of specifications as the new OnePlus 5 is powered by the latest Qualcomm MSM8998 Snapdragon 835 chipset back with a massive 6 GB RAM. As if that isn't enough, there is even an 8GB RAM version for those who need more.

I can assure you that even with the 3300MAH & Snapdragon 835, you can get an average of 2 days on moderate use

no be fight brother but battery durability has gone beyond the size of the battery but optimization. Believe me that paltry 3300amh battery will last longer than the battery of the Mi Max you have bro. The power efficiency of SD 835 and the dash charge[b][/b] will ensure that you get more power and juice for the least charge. It's not about size but efficiency.

The spec is not bad, although I expected at least a 2k display and an increase in display size of 5.7", while keeping the same overall size of oneplus 3. And the price?. This phone use to be a flagship killer that cost 400€ seem to be getting expensive with every new model.

Haha! It's too obvious na, the S835 is great in efficiency but that doesn't mean you should compare it with the Mi Max, it's a battery monster. Infact those who care to know, the Oneplus 5 is no where near the Mi Max in battery performance. Gsmarena already did a review, the Oneplus 5 scored an Endurance rating of 83hrs which is very respectable for a 3300mah battery, and is better than so many 4000mah phones, but this is no where near the Mi Max's with 4850mah battery and Endurance rating of 108hrs.

not again. Some brand like Huawei are now spending much on R & D and adverts. They don't want to play local league again and want to step up their game.

Talking about the design language, it's normal for a firm to copy another then add a couple of things to make it distinct

Huawei is a large firm, they have been the market for decades. Wonder why they are the third major OEM in the world?? One plus 5 is too much of a copy considering the fact that it would be sold in the western market compared to it's rivals which doesn't leave the Asian markets.
