Kidnapper Evans Might Be Released Soon by oluwafranky: 11:11am On Jun 23, 2017
We all remember the notorious billionaire kidnapper by name Evans. If we recall the last mission of he and his boys which lead to his arrest was the kidnap of one Mr Duru who they asked to pay 500 million naira and after the family had paid 123 million naira, he was still not released and held for months with Evans demanding for complete payment.

A notorious kidnapper who have caused agony to many is today being painted as a Saint as the media only give us sweet and pity stories of this man not a single in depth interview of his victims or families of the victims and the agony they all went through.Evans has today become a celebrity and not a notorious kidnap kingpin. He is on every paper, TV and blogs... The most annoying part is that you see police officers struggling to take selfies with this notorious kidnapper. Now I ask all this attention on this man isn't it going to obstruct investigation?

Now lets go back to the story that lead to his arrest. Recall Emeka a staff at Mr Duru's company was the man who gave out information that led to the kidnap of Mr Duru. We believe he must have been given a huge amount as share for the role he played in the abduction. Mr Duru was kept for roughly 3 months; watching an interview with Gbenga of AIT FOCUS i heard Mr Duru say he over heard Emeka's voice several times when he visited the house where he Mr Duru was being kept and that was how he knew he was involved. He Mr Duru said after months the kidnappers were talking about killing him of which Emeka supported. He was offered indomie and was scheduled to be killed on a Friday night. As God was faithful Mr Duru miraculously escaped on that same Friday morning, he gave out information which lead to the arrest of Emeka.

Emeka was arrested that same Friday, I want to believe Emeka gave information that lead to the arrest of Mr Evans and his gang members. Now somebody will ask why have I been mentioning Mr Emeka Mr Emeka... Well it's because this same Mr Emeka has been RELEASED by the Nigeria police on the basis that the gang members of Mr Evans said they don't recognize him.

Mr Emeka was not recognized by the gang members Same Emeka who gave information that lead to the kidnap of his boss, same Emeka who visits the house where the boss was kept and interacted with the gang members, same Emeka who gave precise information that lead to the arrest of Mr Evans and his gang member.

Yes again I say Mr Emeka has been released on the basis that the gang members said they don't recognize him. I may not know much about the law but I strongly believe this Mr Emeka is supposed to be strong part in the investigation and bringing of Mr Evans to Justice. Are you not seeing something fishy surrounding this release?

Where are we getting it wrong?? the police give out almost all information on this case out to the public, day and night we hear of Evans Evans Evans yet up till today no security officer or officers have been assigned to Mr Duru. This man Mr Duru don't they think his life can also be in danger because of this case??

I have taken out time to write this post because the whole thing is becoming very annoying, should we fold our hands and always watch corruption prevail

But what I don't understand about Nigerian Police & armed robbers/kidnappers is this: how is that armed robbers/kidnappers carry weapons (several AK 47's) in a car and move around town or from city to city, yet somehow policemen are unable to see the guns or arrest them? But when I drive from Owerri to Port Harcourt I pass many police and at least 2 army checkpoints. Several of them will stop me, check my papers, search both the trunk of the car as well as the inside. On several occasions on Owerri-PH road as well as Aba-PH road I'd had to either escape from ongoing armed robbers attacks (as I approached the spot) or hear the stories of one that took place not long before I got there. Stories of how Evans and his boys heavily armed use SUV cars to doublecross and kidnap their victims, drive them round Lagos, transfer the car to the second team that will take the victim to their hideout abound. My question is the police checks that "terrorize" innocent Nigeria's, do they disappear when these robbers and kidnappers are on the prowl? How is it that Police do not see all these guns in their cars?
