The whole hunting experience is fun...... sitting round the camp fire with friends, waking up in the freezing cold before dusk, simply being in the bush, stalking your pray for hours, that adrenaline rush when you are lining up to take the shot.

Killing is only part of it, it's nature, humans have hunted for millions of years.

Lastly a real hunter will always make sure he's in the perfect position to make an ethical shot....last thing any hunter wants is a wounded animal.

Don't be confused by those pictures. The people who are deemed one of the most lightest Igbos are from the Southeast. Hausas from the Northwest are deemed to be very dark in skin color. However, these are petty stereotypes. Among any ethnic group in Nigeria, you can find dark skin and light skin with dark skin being the most common. Even the Fulanis that are classed as having light skin in reality have more of a variety.

I disagree with you also, I read extensively on this as it is part of my study areas, the North had organized monarch system which facilitated tax collection, the conservative nature of Islam made it more easier. Also they were less informed and wanted colonialism to continue, Nigeria should had gained Independence in 1956 during the call by Chief Anthony Enahoro, a southerner, but Ahmadu Bello rejected this and replaced it with "as soon as practicable" reason our independence was delayed until 4 yrs later.

The North were better tools to be controlled unlike most of their southern counterparts who just returned from their education abroad, they saw the ills of colonialism after contrasting it with the good lives they enjoyed in the west. This actually brought about the advent of Nationalism.

When Nigeria conducted her first election in 1959, the then British governor general, Sir James Robertson selected a junior civil servant Harold Smith to oversee the rigging of the election in favor of the North, He was promised promotion and alot of cash, but unfortunately he still rejected.

The Northerners have been strong allies with the west, they can easily be controlled and very good at ass licking, reason Obama stood against Jonathan and supported Buhari cos Jonathan refused to adopt some policies like gay marriage and the likes. How often do you hunt? I can guarantee you in Kenya you would be cooling heals behind bars. You can only do it illegally. Whether you are black or not doesn't really matter. Its just a question. Where I come from whether you are white, black or yellow, you dont get to hunt. And it doesnt matter whether we lose all our wildlife to poaching. Actually our numbers have risen significantly recently. To be honest I find the whole idea of shooting animals as a sport very barbarous.
