I went to my fish farm to feed them as usual, as I was feeding them I saw this snake that has been terrorising them,without wasting time I picked the available weapon and killed it, only God knows how long it has been feasting on them.

He would've protected his fish pond against intrusions like these instead of killing the poor creature.
How many more snakes will he have to kill? In nature once a wild animal locates a food source it will keep coming back...it doesn't know its causing u demage or not.
Animals will hunt and kill prey to stay alive.

so I should leave d snake?? #wehdoneSir. if you know more about fish farming then you will understand that in earthen pond,there is no way u can protect your pond 100pecent from such. the pond and its immediate environment was cleared and d pond is even covered with a protective Net, but this creature still finds its way there.

I think the OP used a heavy object to hit d snake around d head....I don't think d snake is a member of d cobra family.
Most likely a banded water snake cos of d yellow rings....I may be wrong.

Don't just say its a cobra without facts.... The cobra in the picture you posted is a king cobra ad its definitely longer than the snake the OP killed.
That's why I suspected it to be the banded water snake.

The pix I uploaded is a forest cobra not a king cobra. Look at OPs pictures closely and you will notice the hood.

The neck pattern suggests it is a member of the elapid family (the cobras).
