Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 3 by Brightingsus: 6:43pm On Jun 27, 2017 |
McGibson: Your question somehow seems somewhat vague. No one here is an Entry Clearance Officer. However u can certainly get advice here. Nevertheless you have not included the list of documents you have. You just mentioned a few. Your chance of getting a visa would depend on your travel history, reason for requesting a UK visa, documents you would submit at your appointment and your ties to Nigeria. Moreover if you are going to stay with your aunt you might need a copy of her recent utility bills to show proof of address. |

McGibson: Since you have submitted the application online, there is not much to advise here. Most valuable advice are offered during the filling of the application form. However, from your post your changes will be determined by the supporting documents you intend to submit. May I ask you the following 1. Who is paying for the trip? 2. Are you married? 3. What documents do you have to establish the family relationship with your aunt? Note your aunt sending bank statement, invitation etc does not constitute a relationship |

@ ekpotec Please, I need your advice. My wife wants to apply for UK visiting visa. She is working with Federal Government of Nigeria but, unfortunately her payslip for the last 6 months are not ready from IPPS, can we submit without the payslips or what do you advise? I want to sponsor my wife trip to the UK for 2weeks, I want to transfer the funds into her salary account. My question is, can I print her bank statement of account the same day I transfer the funds into her account? Thanks. |

Good evening house, Please i need help for my aunt, she applied for uk visa stating shes going to stay for 3 weeks (shes being there several times),she was given visa for 6 months. she then overstayed so she spent 68 days instead of 21 days .she applied again this year and was refused visa based on this overstay and the fact that she did not add her bank account details(genuine fault on her behalf). shes grown lean as a result of worrying and sleepless night because in the refusal letter, the entry officer doubts her reasons for travelling this time....what i want to ask if it is possible for her to reapply (she wants to) and how to go about it given this circumstance. shes a government worker.. Counting on you guys.thanks 2 Likes |

McGibson: To prove family relationship you will need photos showing you and your aunt, old and new photos. Evidences of her last visit to Nigeria. Definitely the ECO will call your aunt to ask questions about you. She must be able to convince the ECO that she knows you very very well. |

INFORMATION If there is anyone who needs pounds sterling £ in exchange for Naira #, I have some pounds sterling £ to sell. This is good if you need to pay for visa, IHC and accommodation in the UK. You can hit me up if interested. Jelil. |
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 3 by ekpotek: 10:53pm On Jun 27, 2017 |
kaverd: Well the ECO has clearly stated, the main reason for the refusal. If she want to reapply then she must include a cover letter to explain in details what she was doing in the U.K. for 68 days when she had plan to stay for 21 days. Without addressing this issue, it another refusal. Not adhering to the term of visa approval will always lead to decision such as this. 1 Like |

ekpotek: oh OK thanks boss. one last question. I have pictures in my phone. do I need to print the pictures? please I need the answer. thanks so much. ekpotek |
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 3 by ekpotek: 6:09am On Jun 28, 2017 |
McGibson: Yes. Print the picture out on A4 paper preferably in colour. Include a brief description of the picture of where and date it was taken, who are visible in the pictures. If you have others evidences, like WhatsApp and messenger charts history between your aunt and you, print it out also. |

It looks like I entered into a selfish people's thread. Lol, every body wants his/her questions to be answered but can't answer a simply question I asked for long. What a thread, anyway am out of here because I don't want to be infected with the syndrome. |
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 3 by ekpotek: 5:58pm On Jun 28, 2017 |
kaverd: Did she include the return ticket showing she intend to spend 68 days in her first application where she got the visa? Information of confirmed flight itinerary of applicants after visa approval is not within the purview of UKBA. What they know is the date you enter and depart from the U.K. which they check if it's in consonant with your visa application request. If it deviate substantially it will be a refusal during visa renewal unless you can provide convincing reasons for the overstay. |

Sagamaje:My brother i don't know what they are doing with peoples passport that causes all these delays,.My wife is in the same situation as yours. She applied on 23rd May,Got "Decision" on 13th of june, but uptill now no news on her passport where about, She even paid DHL in advance to deliver her passport in the east because we live in the eastern part of Nigeria, thereby making it difficult for her to easily check at the VAC or the UK embassy unless she comes to lagos again, which we are planning to do if we dont get any news by end of the week, the inconvenience is very huge for people that lives in far away cities. I have never seen this kind of delays since 2009,the year she started obtaining(Schengen & US)Visas,Its very discouraging. |
