so i got an update. additional document request......my intl passport has less than 6mnths validity while in process and av been asked to upload a new one.....within 7 days.
I have applied for a new passport since 10th May but unfortunately its not forthcoming till now.
Is it possible to ask for an extension? how can i go about that?
Is there anyone of us here wit a solid contact at PH immigration??

My suggestion is to explain the situation and request for an extension in a mail to
CPC-CTD-Ottawa@cic.gc.ca. Tell them to give you more time, insult naija very well so dem go give u PPR sharply. Then u gotta go to the passport office and arrange yourself well, u know what I mean.. Include all your details, uci number etc.

I understand you can ask for an extension. do you have any proof to show that a new one is currently being processed? Can you tell exactly when the new one might be available... did the agent tell you? You may also need to go to passport office and show some desperation with intention to pay more money.

Chai. Port Harcourt does not have the passport. An officer in ph gave us contact in the neighbouring state and we paid for express and got it same day.

Since you have already done in ph, pm me . I'll give u the contact of the ph boss . explain to her and know if it can be edited in the PC so that the neighbouring state will print for you ( if they still have).

You can also observe that review of medicals has been faster since the lull as seen from May AORs. Ontario will laugh all the way to the bank for now as more candidates with 400+ who were previously sitting on the fence opt for them. Talk of "a bird in the hand"...

Yeah, the Transcript isn't that expensive but the issue is that it is taking so long to get it done. I have a Contact too but it's taking months and nothing is done so far. Can you please help me with your Contact, I don't mind to get to do as stated as long it will be done as soon as possible.

Yeah, pple shld go to capitals or areas with low patronage for this passport. Even if it is 64 leaves, agree..sort if u must.

He can't go to neighboring state for the passport if he has captured in ph he has to hold on till its been produce. Thou ders booklets at hqs Abuja now so hold on to be distributed to ph n u get PPT but main while pressure the person facilitating it and you can add some cash for him.
