No one can sort this here for you.

Hi brethens, please can I book for an appointment with my admission letter with the embassy while still waiting for my Verpflichtungserklärung to arrive? Cos my enrollment date is September 18th and instead of waiting since there has to be six weeks between booking appointment and enrollment. I'm hopeful before the would be appointment date my Verpflichtungserklärung would be available.
A prompt response would be appreciated
Re: General German Visa Enquiries Part 3 by dobeespen: 12:21pm On Jun 28, 2017
No you can't. You have to add either the documents or open a blocked account to be given a visa date.

open a blocked account with fintiba and book appointment with that. then go for interview with the verpflichtungserklarung. Your visa is processed with the documents you present in person during interview.
hope this helps?

Hi. Applying for a passport in Berlin takes up to six months recently. You will have to go to the embassy for application and later again for picking it. It cost 200-300 euro and the embassy people have to send the papers to Abuja to get it. It's cheaper to apply in Nigeria.

Should I take this as a statement of fact, assumption or "den say den say"? Everything you have said here is totally false and no single element of truth therein if you are saying it as a statement of fact. Let's always make our findings and have the real knowledge about an issue before we comment on it so as not to mislead the people. I will modify this message and when I'm through with what I'm doing and elaborate on how it works and at the same time enlighten you too.

Modified:

1. Passport renewal in Nigeria embassy in Berlin will only cost $106 which is equivalent to 96 Euro; it can either be more or less a little depending on the dollar to euro conversion rate at that particular time. However, it can't be more than 100euro no matter what. Before, they charged 40 euro as administrative fees outside the $106, but it has been cancelled since around 2 months ago or thereabout; hence you only pay $106 with a master card(preferable international master card). But if you want to pay in cash at the Embassy, prepare 120 -130euro.

2. You can apply for it in a day and get it the same day depending on when you get to the embassy. I f you get there like 6am-7am, you will get your passport between 3pm-5pmin the same day. But if you get there in the afternoon, the worst case is to come back and pick it the next day as early as possible.

3. They don't send anything to Abuja, rather; they print it right at the embassy there. Once you have submitted the necessary forms and documents that same day, they will take your biometric passport and signature, enter your information into the system, and take the form into the printing room. Once they are through, you will be called for the collection in the same place and on the same day provided you get there early.

4. The application is online. Everything is done online. You will only go to the embassy for capture and collection and include payment if you have not paid online with a master card.

Shalom

Please, people is it ok to attend a visa interview with a passport showing the previous passport number even though one has never applied for a visa before even with the old passport?
Should he take the old and new along with him?

Someone should please update us on the current trend at the embassy..........

This is nothing to worry about. Just go with your new passport and you can also go with the old since it costs nothing to do so. Shalom

1. U may need to take some time out and visit some banks to sample the best shot! Meanwhile the 8640 is about 3.4m now.

2. Someone mentioned programming and graphics design skills meanwhile the German lang skills is vital too.

3. Good financial mgt skills can help u spend little out of the monthly amount you're allowed to use from the blocked account so u still have a reasonable amount for the second yr as hustle continues.

4. Pick any programming language and master it

5. There are prospects for IT plus your experience. For PR contact @honourableseyi, Futurewise, et al

6. You the admission letter to open the fintiba account. Get your funds ready so immediately the letter drops, u open the fintiba Acc and get your Acc details and book for visa interview.

My 1€ idea wink

Tschuss

Thanks Chief!

To renew your passport at the Nigerian Embassy in Berlin.

1. Go to the website of the Nigerian Embassy and gather more information at:
http://www.nigeriaembassygermany.org/consular_fee.htm

2. Go to Nigeria immigration website and apply at:
https://www.immigration.gov.ng/

3. Pay the required fee ($106) with international master card preferably online ( you can pay in cash at the Embassy, but payment with card is better and cheaper)

4. Print the completed form out with or without payment

5. Print the guarantor form on the embassy website

6. Look for a friend (Nigerian) living anywhere in Germany to fill and sign the guarantor form for you (only the part one of the form will be filled, the rest parts are not needed.

7. Collect a passport photograph of the guarantor and a copy of his/her passport data page

8. Get to the embassy as early as 6am-7am. Note: They will open the gate by 9:am depending on the working hour of the day. But you will ente r according to the time you get to the place. Don't dull yourself on this.

Then the below post should be your expectation.

1. Passport renewal in Nigeria embassy in Berlin will only cost $106 which is equivalent to 96 Euro; it can either be more or less a little depending on the dollar to euro conversion rate at that particular time. It is not. If the deadline is June 15th and his application got to uni-assist on June 15th at 11:55pm, his application will be processed and forwarded to the schools. Once his documents and payment get to uni-assist on or before the deadline, he has nothing to worry about provided the school is not requesting for VPD to be sent with other documents after applying to uni-assist within the time frame like HAW, Hamburg(few schools do this).Shalom
