Hi everyone, Thanks for all the wonderful tips. I am new and i have gone through as many pages of part 1 2 and 3 as possible. I however need clarifications on certian issues as i have just recieved adddmission offers from 2schls in Gemany. 1, I was denied a US visa feb ds year. The agent who helped with the application requested my gfs name and put my status as married with her name as wife. I am still unmarried and i wanna know if i shld put single in my student visa application process for Germany cos i read from this thread there is a way they verify these infos. 2 I want to know if its compulsory i put in the application that i have been denied US visa and the implications of doing and or not doing since my marrital status with US embassy is MARRIED ( note I'm still single) 3, I'm tryin to open a German blocked account. I have recieved the form from a Deutsche Bank and filled. There are however columns that the direction is to be signed at the embassy also to certify docs at the embassy. I want to kno if i have to book an appointment to go for the blocked account submission and how to. Or its any work day since not visa interview? (Second permission frm wrk myt not come by easily) 4, lastly i like to kno which of the Nigerian banks does the transfer to block account relatively faster. Useful informations abt all ds urgently needed. Thanks in anticipation. |

lumyehiteryur: 1. They only ask if you've applied for a visa to Germany before on the visa application. Nonetheless, it might come up in the visa interview. If it does, be as honest as possible and explain to them the reason for the denial. 2. Are you applying for the winter semester? If you are, using Deutsch Bank will take forever. Use Fintiba instead. Its very easy and you get your account in 5 business days. Plus you don't have to worry about going to the embassy to affirm your signature or anything. |

That's y i dont like agents. They charge u ridiculous amounts for things you could have done yourself and this agent instead went and complicated things.. Pleasseeee be truthful at all cost..Don't do or say anything u can't prove by means of ''authentic documentation''. Viel Gluck lumyehiteryur: |

Please i need some one to interprete this for me For selection of applicants, the following rules apply: "In The language rules given by our university say: English level B2 is achieved - if the applicant had 5 years of English at school until the final exam which allows entry into university (the final exam or the last two years of English has to be passed) or - if the applicant studied one year at higher education (e.g. university) in which the primary language was English or - if the applicant has a certificate (TOEFL lbT 72-94, TOEIC 400-485 (listening), 385-450 (reading), IELTS 5.5-6.5,...) I advise that you send in your formal application a list of the course contents and state explicitly how you fulfill the prerequisites, especially the practical skills. Please understand that I cannot anticipate the decision of the examination committee. In the end, it will be important if you need more or less than extra 30 credits to fulfill all requirements. Best regards |

i believe this pertains to English language proficiency and the listed items shows what they may consider in judging your English skill. it is expected you have English proficiency of up to B2. which you can prove as they stated. the first one.... your waec with a good grade in English language will do. for the second your first year university transcript with an accompany proficiency letter from your school registrar that the courses were taught in English. better still you may go with the 3rd option which often times is the beast but for the cost TOEFL or IELTS. either of the three options could be used to proof your English language. but option 3 is best followed by 2. but me i used 2 sha.... no want waste money. so its all about choice. dailydolar: |

This is what uniassist sent to me when I make enquiries on the documents I sent to them. read below.Thank you for your enquiry. We have not yet registered your mail. We need several days for the registration. Your documents will of course be registered according to the day on which they actually arrived. Today we are registering mail that arrived on June 26th/27th. As soon as we register your mail, we will send you a confirmation of receipt by email. Kind regards, Mario Kunze Arbeits- und Servicestelle für internationale Studienbewerbungen uni-assist e.V. |

Johnnyessence:e be like say na NIPOST you use? Nipost is being best advised to use when the application opening is fresh and early enough not towards/approaching deadline one would go and use NIPOST. uni.assist is slow and you complimented their slowness on your application by using NIPOST at this kind of period we should be waiting for evaluation not delivery. meanwhile if your application gets to uni.assist, it would take 3-4 days to notify you by mail or more depending on the volume of applications they have to manually register at hand. |

Mrbigman1:thanks for your reply here. I used NIPOST to send the two parcel. So far I input the tracking code on the nipost website and www.trackitonline.ru but it didn't bring any info about the documents. I just have to go to Nipost office today and know what's going on. I sent the first document to the school and send the second documents to uniasssist address. |

Johnnyessence:NIPOST tracking number(s) is only effective when the registered parcel is within Nigeria but when it leaves Lagos,Nig its tracking is ineffective but only pray that it gets to the destination safely. Nipost EMS is a different service and different on this issue before some people will misconcept me |
