I ask this question because I've witnessed many, like many christian brothers and sisters fornicate and commit adultery like it's the very air they survive on.

If a person say he or she is christian, then why can't that person abide by the rules governing what he or she say they are? Why fornicate and commit adultery when your Biblical law clearly forbid it?
