Hey, I checked the university rankings and University of East Anglia is way up there compared to loughborough University. And 9000 pounds is way much lesser than 10,700. Trust me going to a highly ranked university has a satisfying edge, it's entirely up to you sha.

Exactaly Steven.

But I'm only thinking at the Specialization area.

Question1:

I really appreciate your post on this.

However, East Anglia offers a vast range of courses in Economics such as devlp, media, experimental, behavioural etc.

But I really don't know which one is best for me that's my reason for going for MSC Economics.
I guess I can still change my course when I have a bigger and clearer picture.
Okay. Good luck

Hi guys
In a situation where the Tuition fees have been paid in full, should the account only have the maintenance fees only or I would still need to show proof of school fees
Thanks

No. only your 28-days maintenance fee is required.
The proof of school fee is already stated on your CAS

Which Uni are you heading?

Morning fam

I need you guys to help me on this

If a company sponsors my maintenance fees (cash in the company's account), won't I have a problem with the VO?

NOTE
*All documents are intact
*Tuition fees waived
*The cash can't be moved to my account or parent's

You might need to provide a sponsorship letter issued by the sponsor.

Is it an international organization?

No, not an international organization

OH, As per the Tier 4 guidance you might struggle hard to convince the VO about the genuineness of this your sponsor.

But I'm sure you're better of moving this fund into your own account to avoid stories.

Justwise over to you.

@ Justwise, Ekpotek and gurus in the house, please I need your advice on the consequences of withdrawal of my tier 4 application.

I applied for my visa application on 18th April 2017 and did my biometrics same day. I had my interview on 20th April 2017.
On 8th May, I got a mail from UKVI that my application wasn't straightforward.
On 19th June home office gave me an impromptu call for another phone interview and interviewed me that same day
On 20th June, home office called me again but I missed their call and they have not called again.
STILL NO DECISION YET
I have tracked my application and decision have not been made even as i am typing this message.
My school enrollment date have passed and from the look of things I have already missed out this June take.
My school have told me to withdraw the application and re apply with the new CAS for September they will be proving me with.
I think I have no option than to withdraw the visa application with the view that the time purpose for the application have passed (which is my enrollment day for studies) and then look forward for September intake.

The best way of choosing university is for one to look for area of specialization. There are only five universities that offer subsea engineering, such as: Strathclyde, Aberdeen, Robert Gordon, Cranfield and Newcastle. It's from these universities anyone who wants to study this course can choose from. It is best to understand the strength and specialization of these universities rather going to school that doesn't offer my choice.

I am only making references to them as only universities offering subsea engineering. Of course, you can do same, and understand the strength of the universities offering your course.

Oh Okay sir.

As far as I'm concerned I love every aspect of economics, from international to monetary that's why it has become so difficult for me to decide on which. So I went for MSC Economics.

I want to study the one that will Land me in IMF/World Bank/CBN and co.

thanks for the advice.

Yes, you'd have issues convincing the entry clearance officer about the sponsorship except it's an international company. I had the same issue too when my school refused to process my CAS because the CAS Team didn't go through the letter as they just assumed it was a non-international company. It took the grace of God that got me to ask them for evidence that the company didn't meet the T4 guidance, my pointing it out to them and showing them the company's international addresses and my citing the T4 guidance to get them give the letter a thorough look before they processed my CAS.

So I'd advise you as @justwise did me when the situation happened, get the cash in your account if yu can convince the company.

Withdraw the application as your school suggested and reapply next month OR get another CAS from your school and send it to the embassy, also call the embassy to tell them that your admission has been pushed up to Sept so that when the visa is issued it will reflect that.

How did you make your payment? Did you use a Nigerian issued card?
Mzstephh:
Hey dear, yes oh they said 15 days and I didn't pay for priority service. I assumed that in this case it would just probably fall in line with the previous 10 day rule but it's like they have become strict. Visa fee was 448 dollars and IHS usually 150 pounds per year (dollar equivalent). Say if your'e going for a five year course would be 150 x 5, if it's a one year course it would be 150 pounds. I donno why you couldn't pm me, i'll check.
cheers.xx

They should be able to figure out from your transcript.

Did you include your transcript in the application?

Hello guys, I need your help urgently. I applied to join my husband in the UK. He's on a tier 4 doctoral extension scheme. I applied on June 15 and received confirmation from tls the same date and that my application has been transferred. Then on June 27, I received another email from Sheffield that they just received my application and an officer will now process it.

I have applied several times for visiting visa to see him and I usuall receive the Sheffield email on the same day or next. Now my worry is that, when will the processing timeline start? The day the application was transferred or the day Sheffield received it? Their processing timeline is 3 weeks. Please I need your help. Thanks

Honestly, you got nothing to worry about. You should get your visa latest by next week. All you have to do is PRAY.
I assume you didn't use priority?
