radeke2017:Your documents are okay. But why didn't you try a masters admission since you have a second class upper degree? It might be hard to convince the Visa Officer as to why you chose a PGC over a masters degree. I'll advice that you work on getting a masters degree admission against winter/fall 2018 and then you are good to go. However, since you have paid tuition. You should apply for the Visa. Write a good statement of purpose and explain why you chose the pgc and maybe you will convince the Visa Officer. All the best. |

Mysine:You probably didn't tell them you wanted to do an upfront medical. Anyway, go there the day you booked with your international passport, other requirements and fees(i don't know if you can pay there or prior). Tell them you want to do upfront, they will attend to you. 1 Like |

likeababygirl: That was what I wanted initially but I couldn't find a masters program in business analysis in Canada. And only diploma and certificate programs are approved by the international institute of business analysis, Ild try my best to make my sop as convincing as possible. Thank you for the response |

radeke2017: Write a strong Sop and bounce it off some of the gurus here. For the employment situation is kind off a red flag ( just my opinion oh) but just wait for the gurus to respond sha. If there really is no masters in that field you can tell the VO you fell in love with that aspect during your Industrial training( Provided you did your IT in an IT firm) and you were unable to get a masters program that is specific. You have a very good profile, just ensure you try to make VO understand. All the best |

Elkay007: It won't. This is just to show him how the study permit looks like if he gets his visa approved. This is the document that will be issued to him when he arrives Canada at the imigration border. Please tell him not to submit this. It's just a sample |

radeke2017: Your documents are good but the only issue I have is that the program you are going for is over rated by universities and colleges . What you are going for is something you can even do on the side while doing a master's program. There is no masters in IT business analysis but you can get trainingfrom companies accredited by the institute of international business analysis (IIBA). When you are done with your training you register for your certification exam with IIBA. Am saying this because I am taking my 1st stage of the certification exam process in September. After your 1 year program which you have spent so much to do, you will still have to write a certification exam with IIBA. When I saw the cost of 1 year certification, I decided to use Google and I found a company in Australia that offered a good price. I paid $900 dollars for two courses which I did and completed online in April. They give you up to a year to do the program. With the credit I got, I can register for my certification. I suggest you go for master in information technology like most Nigerian friends I have did. While in school they have been taken side professional courses like ITIL and co.I wish you had come here before you applied. It's a total waste of resources for something you can get on your own. 5 Likes |

This sounds funny though, study permit before visa approval? .this person get mouth oo lol. Study permit is usually issued at the Port of entry nd not by the school. I think the school is trying to show the applicant what a study permit document looks like, going by the water mark, its just a sample. The applicant should apply normally without including this study permit sample, it may be implicative.my opinion tho' Abi gurus in the house, I hope am not missing out something or is this the new law? if so, God has finally answered our prayers we no longer need visa lol Elkay007: 1 Like |

Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 12 by abestine(m): 6:07pm On Jul 01, 2017 |
BlessPJ: Sorry for the delay, I think the best thing is to obtain your GCSM file as the gurus here will say, in order to know the VO's specific reason aside the stated ones. Concerning the purpose of Visit, hope there's no condition that need to be satisfied on your admission letter? That could be one of the reasons. Another which is very glaring is the correlation between your previous field of study and what u are going for, I think a strong Letter of explanation will come handy here. Look for a relation between psychology and psychiatric nurse, and exploit it, a little research into how they are related will help here. And for the last reason which is travel history, like the gurus here will say, it is never a stand alone reason for rejection, it always come along with other reasons, so if you can clear the former excuses, I believe it will also be cleared... Just what I think, the gurus can shed more light |
