Where's even the 8lanes some fool kept yapping about? It only cities as Lagos, Abuja, Onitsha and PH that has multiple lanes roads 8-10 lanes in the entire Nigeria. No other Nigerian state has anything like that. Don't let any clown confuse you. Below is what 8-10 lanes road looks like and can only be found in those cities I mentioned.

preacherz:

A good Government should build Roads linking Rural Areas for quality Agricultural Development and not white Elephant Projects (8 lanes at d heart of the town leading to Hotels) thats adds nothing to the quality of Life of its Citizens.

What you call real Rochas road are either the bad ones but these good ones are no longer real Rochas road. You can as well go to the spoilt roads at Uyo and call them real Akpabio roads. Ndi ara!

You didn't have to insult m because I dared challenge you. All you should have done was decline the challenge.
FYI Akpabio's Akwa-Ibom is a master class when you talk of road construction, JB did most of the roads and by God, they are Solid (capital Letter S for emphasis).
Imo should compare itself with Enugu, and my brother Enugu has really left Imo behind. Ebonyi too is basking in the euphoria of the engineer Governor which leaves everyone asking ; why is Imo going backwards?
Even Ikpeazu is changing the face of Aba. What is it Rochas is boasting of?
Anyway I hope you are well paid for all the desperate and deliberate misinformation grin

FYI those Julius Berger roads are flooded presently as we write and they have created more damages to other parts of Uyo because of poor channelling. If it was in Owerri it would have made news but just learn tonight that Uyo is presently grounded.

Chino the photos will come up soon and it's not just 1.5km of a single highway like that of Onitsha but tens of kms of different roads.

Old man shut up your dirty mouth. What is the size of Owerre that made the road to run several kms? I don't want to bust your bubble even with pictures but know it tonight that it is only Lagos, Abuja, Onitsha and PH that has 8-10 lanes road in the entire federation. Stop posting lies just to massage your ego because we all know the truth. All those roads you kept posting and re-posting calling them 40-lanes are not more than 1km total. You can lie to an outsider but not someone like me.

You old frustrated man hates the truth with your hopeless life even when it is coming from your own people.

Anambra pays far and higher above Imo state and still yet it is not owing, whereas Imo state that pays far less is owing over 10months. Stop spewing rubbish this idiot.

Here...

With the recent increments done by Obiano, civil servants in the state should be earning over 22k.

Mr Jerry Nnubia, the Chairman of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) in Anambra , says that the current minimum wage being earned by workers should be increased to N50,000 monthly from its present N18,000.

Nnubia told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Tuesday in Awka, capital of Anambra, that the increment became imperative following the “harsh” economic realities in the country.

Nnubia said that the minimum wage was long overdue for an upward review.

“At the time we negotiated for a minimum wage of N18, 000, a dollar was exchanging for N140, but a dollar exchanges for between N220 and N240 now.

“The cost of living; accommodation, transportation and food items has also gone high, making it difficult for salary earners to take care of their basic needs,” he said.

NAN also reports that the Association of Senior Civil Servants last month also demanded a minimum wage of N46, 000 for workers.

Its Secretary-General, Mr. Bashir Lawal, in Lagos State, said that the existing N18, 000 minimum wage could not meet the socio-economic demands of workers.

According to Nnubia, the Federal Government’s fight against corruption will further help to improve the economy.

He urged the Federal Government to review its housing policy for workers, noting that civil servants had not benefitted from the existing housing scheme despite their monthly contributions to the scheme.

“The current contributions of workers to the national housing scheme should be made to work,” he said.

He commended Gov. Willie Obiano of Anambra for his positive dispositions towards workers’ welfare, but noted that more still needed to be done in the state.

“Anambra workers are full of expectations that Obiano will put smiles on their faces by fulfilling his promises of increasing salaries,” the unionist said.

Take time out and read these reports but beyond that make personal inquiries about workers salaries across States by grade level. Imo State has the highest in everything till date.

That's sad, but doesn't invalidate the fact that good roads were created. Very good roads.
And yes, we Imo people will keep talking till we see an improvement in the "nwanneocratic" government of Rochas.
So long.

You are just a dirty old clown. I have people in my state civil service and I know how much they receive and it is every 24th of the month. You claim your imo state pays the highest but your gov has not paid a dime for the past 10months. What sort madness is that in your family abagworo? Why have you decided to sale your soul for pot of soup just because of poverty?

Imo state till date is paying the least in the entire SE and still yet owing the highest number of months. Workers in imo state are owed between 6-19months while pensioners are owed over 2yrs arrears. See below. This is despite the fact that the useless gov took bailout severally and looted it pursuing investors that never came to drop a pin in the state. The state is equally indebted to over 150billion. All these monies still yet nothing has been achieved and not that the workers were paid. The next gov of the state will regret ever taking over from this fat fool.

1stly Anambra minimum wage is 11,500 Naira while Imo is 20,000. 2ndly there wasn't and there still isn't commensurate increase in wages by grade level in Anambra civil service making the wage bill small compared with Imo. You can verify these facts. Peter Obi refused to key into the national salary structure insisting that Anambra couldn't afford it becauss he was a 2nd termer like Okorocha is at the moment.

As for rural roads you are right but priority defers and more importantly Okorocha has done more rural roads than all his predecessors combined but cannot be compared with Anambra that started with Ngige and Obi to Obiano. It's a gradual process and any truthful person will agree that he is trying. Who could have believed Orlu can be like this?

Continue with deceiving yourself with that 2013 photos of total of 3km road enlarged by Okorocha in Orlu, all channeled to lead to his Ideator home.

Move into Orlu, you see scores of non motorable roads that will make you say that there is no government in Imo state since 2013.

There is no case again!!! This Rochas of a lunatic has actually proven himself MAD!!! Taking Imo State 50 Years Backward and still boasting of it all as achievement. Rochas is truly and unmistakably a mad man. We blame the media practitioners who are so dumb and corrupt, to the extent of failing to publish the poor state of Imo under this lunatic of a governor.

Truly Imolites will miss your madness and destruction of quality infrastructure in the state. Imo will definitely miss your fake roads and deceptive 'free education'. Imolites will ofcourse miss the untold hardship you have subjected them to, and all the Imo State owned properties you have coveted to yourself, family and cronies will be recovered. CRIMINAL!!!

Anytime I comment on Imo state, I usually tell Nairalanders to pray for the state.

Please, anybody that can bear me witness to the truth in this state, will know the state is merely surviving by divine grace.

This man was a personal mentor in the early 2000s. I admit.

How he became what he is, is really bothering me.

Please, guys COME AND VISIT THE STATE.

Views from Lagos and those online are not enough.

Mr Rochas Okorocha was a curse to Imo state. I won't say more.
