Please how true is this? A friend said the principal applicant must stay with the dependents in Canada for 4years as PR for the dependents (accompanying family members i.e spouse and children) to be eligible to apply for citizenship. In other words, if the primary applicant does not stay in Canada for up to 4 years as PR, his spouse and children will not qualify to apply for citizenship on their own. Please gurus shuk mouth. |

sehawale: I don't think it's true. If it was, it would have been clearly stated on cic website under eligibility for citizenship. 2 Likes |

irewole1: Remark costs N15k. If your score changes after remark, you get refunded. Instructions about applying for remark (Enquiry of Result)is usually given when you collect your hard copy result from British Council. You have up to 6 weeks after test date to make that request and response takes about 10 weeks to come. 1 Like |

40manlappy: Thanks so much for your advice. I will create a new profile to reapply and will also send a mail regarding the cancelled application. My fear however is that if it is reopened, wont it affect the new application I want to submit. |

Hope15: I seriously doubt it. Ideally, Transcript shouldn't even be in your possession; that's why it's only provided directly by the institution and addressed to a 3rd party. 1 Like |

Greetings, I'm a Medical radiographer (medical radiation technologist) with over 5 years experience practicing in Nigeria and thinking of moving to Canada in a year. From what I've gathered I will need my qualification assessed by the Canadian regulatory authority and will also need to sit for and pass a qualification exam in Canada before I can be licensed to practice in Canada. My question is; is there any visa/immigration route that allows me enter Canada to sit for the exams, wait for the results and then search for a job if successfully licensed. Or do I have to travel to Canada to sit for the exams, return to Nigeria to wait for the results and licence, apply for a job from Nigeria before applying for express entry? The exam results take a month to be released. |
Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program Connect Here by Winchman: 11:06pm On Jul 01, 2017 |
sutelk:You do not have to write any licensing exam at this time. Like most of us here, all you need do is send your credentials to a credential evaluation body, write IELTS and enter the pool. When you move to Canada, you may decide to write all the exams you want. However, this doesn't rule out the possibility of writing licensing exams before you move if that's how you want to play it. |

Winchman:Thanks for your response, just a few clarifications, are you implying that express entry allows me move to Canada without a job offer? If yes, does the law permit me to do some unskilled jobs while waiting to write my licencing exams and searching for permanent employment or do I have to live off my savings no matter how long it takes to be certified in Canada? Thanks |

Please i need more info about the letter of employment and bank statement i asked earlier, are they compulsory documents to be submitted when one has been invited to apply? |
