Igbo mainly went for Jonathan

You can't claim Ignorance that out of 12 million, at least 9 million votes came from the Igbos nation wide

http://www.inecnigeria.org/?inecnews=2015-presidential-election-result-2

Don't flatter yourself the east barely provided 3 million votes.

OK there are more ibos outside the east than they are in their homeland.

What is chasing them?

And why did you guys claim you registered only in the East when the issue of PVC came up?

My own is simple.
People should stop insulting my Igbo tribe.

And I know the activities of some of you Igbos have given room to so many people to insult and degrade Igbo people.

Everyday one group is denouncing or insulting Igbo people for what undecided, even those wey their population no pass 20 thousand people. Dey issue us warning statements

it's you guys who have refused to stand with the wishes of the majority that are giving people the impetus to insult Ndị Igbo and accuse us of not loving one another.
Whether you like it or not majority of Igbo men want to leave this country. you people who don't want to leave all in the name of political correctness are in the minority.

it seems no one wants to associate with Biafra. There are 2 outcomes:
1) they get Biafra and find themselves in a land locked country no larger than Niger state, very few resources
2) they remain in Nigeria and no one trusts them with any sensitive position, they remain forever marginalized (by self infliction)

Niger state is bigger than England, but can you compare the two? Inshort can you compare Nigeria as a whole to England?
You illiterate are making it seem as if landmass means development,
Land mass that more than half is covered by desert.
The resources found in that tiny southeast is more than that found in the whole north.
And for your info Biafra isn't landlocked.

Now the thread is about urhobo claiming igbos want them as part of biafra which is say is very false cos on a real no one really likes urhobo

They are usually bitter , vindictive , fetish dudes from my and many peoples experience

I could be wrong but the ones I haven't fall into this stereotype

Itsekiris on the other hand are very civil, nice, warm people .

i have never read anywhere ipob said in all bodies or articles that urhobo or itsekiris are part of biafra but I said if both tribes did offer I would strongly oppose admission of urhobo but itsekiris would be a dream come true I love them

Have you ever asked how the name "Igbo" came about, the meaning of that name and who gave it to you people? If you don't know and for your information, Igbo means "slave" and "slavery". That was the general name the Edo Empire gave to your people across the Niger River. Igbo people served as "slaves" to the Benin Kingdom and it was their descendants who intermarried and settled among the aboriginal inhabitants of Agbor, Idumuju and other parts west of the Niger that formed today's Anioma. That is why a freeborn of Ika and Ukwuani don't want to be called "Igbo" because the word "Igbo" in their Edoid influenced languages equally connotes "slavery" or "life of servitude"! If you don't know this, it was the Edo people who told the early Portuguese Explorers during their frequent visits to Benin Kingdom between "Fourteen-Fifteen Centuries" that the people who live across the River Niger [Igboland] are their "Igbo" [that is to say their slaves] and it was recorded by the whites. To repair your reputation as a people, you need to review that name "Igbo" given to you by outsiders. Who knows if that name "Igbo" is the reason why your people despite being one of the 3 major tribes in Nigeria yet command no strong political control/ influence over the nation's affairs as do the Hausas and Yorubas!

God!!!!! Wetin I no go hear for this life? Tomorrow edo will claim Yoruba migrated from them, the next day the will say Igbo migrated from them, another day you will hear them say Igbos are their slave, I swear I don tire for this confused bini o,

I will not tell you what urobo (urhobo) means in my language, that will cost you money. From time immemorial, even the true Edos have regarded you as fringe elements and slaves. A dishonest slave committed treason and ran away to the Bush to escape execution by his Edo king. That is your recorded history. Today, the runaway slave Usobo is problem to his benevolent hosts- the great Itshekiri and Ijaws, and even to the rest of Nigeria. Ibori, an ex con is the best you can present to the world. This is not necessary as nobody is forcing anybody. There will be referendum please any group that is not interested can kindly vote NO.

Yes we agree that Igbo has nothing in common with the Urhobos just that we are neighbours. And please stop seeking for relevance where you can not find it. Last time I checked I observed that Urhobo, Itsekeri and Isoko have been removed from the map. so why this your continuous unnecessary noise making?

Get this at the back of your mind Great Biafra is not begging anybody to join. Igbo of south South and south east alone can make a great country talk more of when you add the ever hardworking people of Ibibio, Efik, Ekoi and Annang and fearless and outstanding great people of Ijaw, Ogoni and Andoni.

We blame our leader, Nnamdi Kanu for this steady insult on the reputation and sensibility of great Igbo nation by insignificant groups who are seeking unnecessary attention.

Lastly, Urhobo this your insult has become too much can't you see or hear the proponents of Biafra restoration calling for referendum to know the constituent ethnic nationalities that are comfortable to be part of the new country.

And it was said that it was some element of your tribe that approached them and asked them to add your group to the proposed new country just like the Idoma and Igala and that is why they are insisting on referendum to ascertain if your people were properly consulted.

Ask yourselves why they failed to include the Binis, the Esans, and the Tivs. The reason is that no element from this neighboring groups approached them for them to be included in the map.

Urhobo join hands with other minorities and seek for Niger Delta Republic you will see how ndi Igbo will overwhelmingly support you. We've been supporting you before now and will continue to do so. We are minority friendly unlike other largest ethnic groups of Nigeria. We supported your 13% derivatives even appealed for increment to 21%, We supported your youths for amnesty, we supported you for total resource control and also supported a man from your neighboring minority group which we are suffering the implication today.

We are hated in Nigeria out of envy against our success but supporting Goodluck Jonathan worsened everything. But we are not regretting it because:
1) we see a better, learned and rational person in GEJ and we cant leave our neighbour and support another person who believe that we dont have right to exist because we are christians and he and his people have never supported us.
2) Nigeria has never catered for Igbo man and has nothing to offer to ordinary Igbo man on the street who struggle to cater for his need and that of his family. But our anger and regret is our youths who were murdered in the streets of Asaba, Onitsha, Aba and Portharcourt by this man out of anger that my people did not give him vote.

Urhobo please it's been long we said bye bye to each other on the issue of Biafra so I beg you in the name of God to stop making public caricature with Igbo image just to gain political relevance to APC led government.
You made this your pronouncement in 2015 twice, 2016 and you are still repeating it in 2017. To you, is it not sounding childish? Itsekiri sounded more mature by saying hers once and since then has been silent. A word is enough for the wise especially the intelligent Igbos, you don't have to shout it for 50 times before it will be heard.

The Urhobo Progress Union Youth Wing Press Secretary has added his voice to the recent denouncements of Biafra by minority groups in the South-South region. This denouncement is against the idea being peddled by IPOB and other Biafran secessionists groups that the South-South and non-Igboid minority groups are parts of Biafra. It can never be stressed enough that these minority groups, especially the Urhobo, share nothing in common with Igbos except for proximity with the Anioma people with whom they share a state. Igbos have their own cause, as the Urhobos also do. The common issue of marginalisation is not enough for the Biafran secessionists to force uninterested groups into their prospective nation. What more? This denouncement of Biafra was first done by UPU (the apex socio-political organisation in Urhobo) in 2014 and yet the wishes of Urhobos to be left alone from the Biafran secessionist plans have not been respected. What more proof is needed that IPOB and other Biafran secessionist groups that they don't respect the wishes of minorities? Let's hear from the horse's mouth:

Dude that map was drawn by who?

Why not walk on the street and ask the average ibo person if anyone wants urhobo near biafra

I can guess the answer ...

Listen to the video calmly it's clear semantics

No tribe is forced to be part of biafra but any tribe who indicates interest is welcome except the Urhobos

Relax we don't want them at all
As in we would rather have Syrian rebels than urhobo

It's not personal it's just that they are horrible people

If itsekiris said they wanted to be part which is doubtful it would be a huge honor to share a nation with those wonderful people

Any one can wake up tomorrow use Adobe cs and create a map adding even Yoruba land and label it biafra claiming the ibos are spreading it

Think it's free
As an Urhobo man, I had great respect for the Ibos and their quest for Biafra. In fact I was a strong believer in the restoration of Biafra. I argued with passion whenever I had the opportunity of speaking about Biafra. I make bold to say I have won more people to Biafra through constructive arguments and dialogue than most people who have taken to the streets in protest. I use the word "was" because events of the past months have seen my believe in the struggle fade due to the belligerent nature of the Ibos towards others. They throw tantrums at anything or person that seem not to share in their ideology of the restoration of Biafra and its boundaries.
What the Ibos lack isn't the will to restore Biafra. It is rather diplomacy to get helpers onboard. You cry to Britian, Israel and America for help on a daily basis for help. The question is are they part of Biafra?. Unless the Ibos starts seeing the Urhobos, Itsekiris, Efik, Ijaws and every other nation in Nigeria as partners in the restoration of Biafra, the agitation might very well be a pipe dream. These nations have only come out to say we are not a part of you. I have been following all the nations renouncing their membership of Biafra and one thing they have commonly agreed upon is the acknowledgment of the struggle as the rights of the agitators.
On being fetish bla bla bla, you cannot generally write of a race because of one bad relationship or neighbour you had. The IBO man is more fetish than any tribe in the entire south south not just the urhobos here.
With the level of hate you just spewed about my tribe, I am beginning to feel you guys actually deserve whatever Buhari and his northern goons are doing to you guys. You are capable of doing it to us as well.
Biafra lost me tonight.

@B2mario, who were the elements that approached your crew and asked them to include the Urhobo in your biafra map? Were they traditional rulers of the Urhobo people, or Presidents of the foremost socio-cultural pan-Urhobo groups? Just who exactly? shocked The same goes for the Idoma and the Igala. Who asked for their inclusion? Because I do not see why an ethnic group should be included in your proposed republic, when the authentic, recognised leaders of such a group have not asked for its' inclusion! sad
